Ravello, I think you should talk with Nyxie about her misunderstanding with me. I believe she claims I called her a cheat, when in a private message I asked her about a couple games and said something I would never say in public.
She took it the wrong way. Please stop attacking my credibility over THAT when it was a total misunderstanding from the sta ...[text shortened]... all wrong if this has anything to do with me ever calling Nyxie a cheater.
I never did.

YOU and RAPALLA (also known as Ringtailhunter and now Shredder 9 UCI) asked me if I found something strange in Nyxie's games, but now you retract it. You're a damned liar and hypocrite.
In the message below you say that you "found it strange....doesn't mean I called her a cheat."
You just went on and on with subtle questions to find out if she was cheating, but now you want to come out clean and "politically correct" just as you said nothing.
Also Russ is a liar : I asked him to withdraw you as a game moderator and indeed he said that "there wasn't need because you withdrawn spontaneously",but it's a ******* lie because you're still doing (???) it.
You and your friend rapalla went on and on because Nyxie resigned an UNRATED game against Paulie, and you still are a game moderator? What's next? Blobby a forum moderator?
This is the private message, you liar,a shame I deleted your old messages asking about Nyxie.

Please show me what I PM'd to you, why would I ask YOU?
Yes, I found it strange... doesn't mean I called her a cheat.

>..........both you and Rapalla messaged mne asking if I found something suspect in Nyxie's games because of "baffling draws" and "strange resignations",and in the forums you say it was only a "misunderstanding".
Misunderstanding a ****,you knew what you were asking and what you were searching for,you clearly suggested that she cheats, but you don't even have the guts to take responsability for your own words.

Originally posted by RavelloI don't paste Private Messages into public threads, but I'll let you know I'm still waiting for Russ to get back to me about this user 'shredder'. It's not cool, just as not cool as you posting PM's, or posting user names you "think" are cheating.
But obviously no one will touch him and his multiple accounts because he's friend of Phlabibit.
I still don't understand how finding some strange things is all of a sudden me calling a user a Cheater. I never did, and still have not... but you are draggin Nyxie's name all over the place trying to prove a point that just won't float.
She asked me to look into this, and I did. I just should have said no, since it’s turned into the most retarded drama in RHP history.
I can find all the Pm's I got from Nyxie, and sent to Nyxie. You should be able to find one I sent you at the same time, unless you are totally confused or full of $h!t.

1: post cheating accusations?
2: Use multiple accounts?
3: Use an engine?
As far as I remember all three of these are in direct violation of the tos i agreed to. I expect something to be done about this. As long as he remains here it makes the admin look silly. Do something phlabibit.
I did'nt ask you to pm my friends and ask if I cheated phlab I could have done that. I expected you'd run some games through an engine, but so far I've seen none of that so i must conclude that you have no engine proof, and also that mike has been unable to provide, so I say at this point the matter is closed. I'm sorry it turned into this, and I will personally ask ravello to let it go.
I've tried not to let this issue come into this thread but it has, I will let this be my final word on it. If mike is somehow ressurected yet again, I will just let it go.

You lied and you know it,it's not good for a game mod to lurk around asking other users if they think a certain user is cheating and then denying it when brought in forums.
Sorry if you wanted to keep it all hush hush, secretly hidden in private messages.
My point floats well,it's you that need to be sorted your suppositions made with your friend Rapalla/Ringtailhunter/Shredder9UCI before you go asking around if there's something strange in a certain user's games.
My last words as Nyxie expressed the wish to let this die, mainly because you can turn it the way it's more comfortable to you.
Originally posted by Phlabibiti personally wouldn't resign - i'd just play the game as well as i can and try to learn something from it.
Are you willing to resign games if YOU THINK that player is cheating? How do you decide someone IS cheating?
How do you avoid forced games like clan, tourneys, and sieges?
P-
how do you decide if someone is cheating? excellent question. if you have an engine, you can run the game through it. if you don't what reason do you have for suspicion? maybe your opponent is just better than you. either way, play to win and try to learn something from the game.
how to avoid forced games: personally i wouldn't bother, i'd just play the game. see above. but if you really have to avoid these, then: clan - ask your leader not to match you with the suspect; tournament - this will only happen once in a while. resign if you don't like it, play if you can cope. same with seiges.
AND REMEMBER: it's just a game. think about the events in London today to put things in a bit of perspective. Perspective has been sadly lacking in this whole misguided thread.

Originally posted by Nyxieeven though engine users don't bother me personally, i accept that they bother some people. so, if there is some sort of mechanism to check out what might be called 'naive' engine users - those who just take the first choice move every time, then i have no particular problem with it. but i think it is a mistake to increase the number of game mods - an unnecessary mistake. what we need to do is filter the accusations, in the following ways. 1. the game mods only check out a suspect's games if he or she has been accused by n different users. 2. each accuser must supply evidence of what we might call 'unnatural' matching with engine suggestions for each game in which cheating is thought to have occurred. users without engines to check with have no business making accusations like this. 3. accusers can only make accusations based on games they themselves have played against the suspect.
Say hundreds and I might agree with him. Would hundreds bother you?
sophisticated engine users - those who only use engines to get them out of trouble spots, or who make occasional small mistakes to disguise their tracks - will be virtually undetectable, and we should not waste time trying.
if it is done this way, there is no need to increase the number of game mods.
mind you, i still think the best approach is just to take a chill pill, get some perspective, and worry about the real issues in life, rather than whether some chess opponent we'll never meet, whom we are playing a game on which nothing subtantial rests, is using software to help him or not. but if we MUST have game mods, let's at least keep it minimal and not a monument to someone's paranoia...the faint scent of J. Edgar Hoover has settled around this thread...
