This is a sort of witch hunt because it is dependent on accusations by members.
Just install an automated software like in playchess. Everybody would be happy and the people who are now the Game Mods would have a lot more free time.
BTW, I'm tired of this "witch hunt" BS; a witch hunt was bad because there were no witches (at least ones casting black magic spells). There were and are engine users on this site so get off the ridiculous "witch hunt" accusation. The standard set here was OVERWHELMING evidence of engine use before someone is banned, I doubt if that was the standard in the Middle Ages before grannies got stuck on a burning pile of sticks. Do you know what percentage of servers we non-subs use? Do you know how much ad money we (subs have no advertisements) bring to RHP? Do you know how many people come here only because it's free (no pressure with trial periods) and then subscribe?

As for the cost of such a system, you are probably right like I said in my other post.
I am strong enough to beat most lower rated engines. I have even managed a draw with Fritz 8 before. I have had a few games where my opponent had made 25-30 moves that the computer suggested. Does this mean he/she cheated? No. But there's a good chance. I have even stooped so low as to send a PM accusing the person of cheating. The accusation was squashed the very next move, when he blew a clear as day mate threat. The way I look at it, if you're going to use a computer to beat someone, use it to beat everyone, and not just me.
