Exy was accused he denied it - catagorically.
Exy was told that the Mods had "varied and conclusive evidence". Exy has previously played alll of the Game Mods. He played against David Tebb on several occassions and I'm sure if Tebb was suspicious of Exy cheating then he would have said something, especially when Exy finally beat him. Gatecrasher and Tmetzler have both mentioned that Exy's games have been useful in proving that other players have cheated because he played such a unique out-of-book style, he has played both of those players regularly too and again they have never accused him of cheating.

The community asked for game mods, the game mods chosen were influenced by a community vote and very importantly
"The game mods are a team of people appointed by the community who will analyse games of suspected cheats. In cases where there is judged to be overwhelming evidence that cheating has occurred, the guilty party will have their account terminated."
At the end of the day we should just let the game mods get on with the job they were chosen to do. Anyone unhappy with the work of the game mods should either shut up and play chess, or move to one of the many other sites where chess is available.
Lets get the forums back to talking about nonsense like Shav's weird and wonderful sex life, 😉 , my dog was chased by next doors cat, Freddie Starr ate my hamster, why did you choose your user name etc etc.

And the reason why I still think that Exy is not an engine is simple. Robbo (as you remember) worked with him and knew him in person and he told me that he had many OTB games with him. Robbo as well as Exy are strong players, FULL STOP

Mods have no right to invade people's privacy that way, and besides, there are legitimate reasons someone could have an engine running while using RHP. Maybe they are analyzing a finished game and have that running while they think about their move in an RHP game for example.

I analyse my games using Fritz after they finish. It helps me in future games to know where I went wrong. Of course this is no substitute to a strong player looking over my games but it'll do.
