@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidLike anyone really cares what you say Ghost!!!
I like to think a similar raincloud forms over Rusty's head whenever he tries to follow a highbrow conversation.
There. I said it.
You've worn out your boredom and picking at people, trying to pretend you're good person which we know is far from the truth.

@The-only-Mr-T saidYeah. Some countries are trying to relocate their residents and in some cases their capitals, either because of rising ocean levels or chronic drought.
Probably get an overly dry spring and the hosepipe bans will be back 😄
I spent most of January in Ireland, the start of the year was quite nice with the snow... Then it got completely miserable. All around the world it seems the weather has been a bit mad.
Probably not too long before various volunteer groups think, "Hey, this is something we can and should manage" and we all end up in a "Snowpiercer" scenario (not necessarily on the train).
@The-only-Mr-T saidIt's so stupid, too. Even before whatever AI/LLM assistance we have now, we probably had the info-gathering and assessment tools and other tech to consider our systems at the global level, but maybe greed, convenience, and tribalism got in the way.
Actually now it's called climate change 😉
Stops the idiots walking in the snow and saying global warming is a bunch of hogwash.
It's the pollution that is mostly causing the climate to change... And it's not going to improve anytime soon either.
@Very-Rusty saidI don't think anyone should take a chance on a frozen lake, given some recent news reports about people who fell through the ice, froze, and died.
Wow less than a week, is it now safe to walk or skate on? First time in 15 years got to tell everyone something is happening.

@Very-Rusty saidI think Dive might have channeled that from one of the AI pastors yet to come.
@diver,
I don't know why someone would thumb a post down that appears to be out of the bible. Perhaps anthesis? 😉
I don't know the bible as well as many people do. I still would never thumb a post down from it that is just childish far as I am concerned, who ever you may be.

(It's not a canonical passage.)
@Very-Rusty said"Hooray for Canada!" 😉
@ Torunn,
Good for you!!!
Yes, I went back and gave it a thumbs up also. We can all have different points of view when it comes to religion, but no need to put others down for it.
EDIT: Canada is frequently cited as one of the most multicultural countries in the world, renowned for its policies promoting diversity and high rates of immigration, with over 20% of i ...[text shortened]... t the world is becoming a multicultural place in this Century, more than at any other time.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidWhat if that was exactly what Rusty meant?
Anthesis - The precise, often rapid, developmental stage when a flower fully opens and becomes functional, allowing for pollination and fertilization.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidI have noticed that many British people (not you) mention grammar when they really mean punctuation.
Mixing up atheists with anthesis is a bit more than a grammar mistake my old foe.
(I see you edited out grammar and replaced it with spelling).
@Great-Big-Stees saidExcept perhaps for the worst among us, who might have the money and tech to live forever, bothering and subjugating others for aeons to come.
Nature does, always, triumph.👍
