To each his or her own. I like Metal, Slim likes hard rock ( I think) some like country, some like rap. It is all in what speaks to you personally.

Aint too sure about that.

There such a variety in any kind of music ranging from the very best to the very worst, that you should able to find artist that you would like in any genre really.

So I'll say keep your eyes and ears open especially in the kind of music you absolutely can't stand, because there's gem everywhere.

Never say that you hate this or that, just keep in mind that during your life you'll be able to discover just a small part of what has been created in any form of art in the world.

No offence for Bob, but just check "Studio 1" - one of the greatest reggae production company ever. He was in some sort of competition to record any kid out there, in order to play it as a DJ and beat everybody else because he had the only copy available of a lot of songs. The reason for that: he looked for it everywhere and produced and recorded the artists who gave birth to reaggae before anyone was really interested in it outside Jamaica. His work between 1966 and 1976 - including Bob - is the most brillant I think, with artists like Heptones, Mittoo, Dudley Sibley, Ken Boothe, Wilson, Jackie Opel, my main man Alcapone and off course Burning Spear.

I didn't actually say that I liked Marley [I like about 3 songs of his that I can think of] much - I was using him as an example.

I listened to some of the recommended ones in this thread and I still think it's crap - sorry.
I challenge anyone to listen to this type of music through headphones - it's not possible.

so your ears are really bleeding 😀 sorry for that.

Well I guess there's a moment for everything. Gonna give you an example: Britney Spears.

I was in a train in India, one day, and everybody went to bed, except me an a bunch of kids. It was obvious that they were really willing to speak to me but were strugling with very few words of english. I was just in the country so didnt have much neither pass the namaste bit.

Anyway, they were so willing to comunicate in any way that they start singing "give me baby one more time" or whatever the lyrics are. And I joined on the chorus and we didnt stop laughing and singing crappy song for an hour. Great moment for me and them.

So yeah, there's not such a thing as bad music, there's only bad moments to listen to some type of music.

Thanks britney! 😏 🙁 😳 😞

Eh don't tell me your feet aint moving on this one:

yeah and if i don't like your music, i don't go and trash it. especially if i have no clue about quality music in that genre. if i'm not well versed in everything it has to offer, i'm not going to trash it. which is why it upsets me that you trash hip hop the way you do.

No, but you don't miss an opportunity to give me a ration. I posted an apology, if you need more, seek a therapist.
