Isn't New Hampshire's State motto "Turn Up The Suck"? The place is full of poor white trash and everyone knows you don't rob the poor, you go to Boston to rob the rich. Plus, you don't have that many black people, just a bunch of white kids that think they're black.

What is your point?

You're wrong, anyway. This state is NOT full of poor white trash. Perhaps you should do your research on median income, quality of life, etc, before you visit here, dumdum.

I would say you have very low crime rates because you have an armed society, which is a polite society. It's very easy to obtain a gun for self protection in NH. Why do you attribute your low crime rate to the fact that you don't have capital punishment ? The fact is that The People are armed and take no crap from criminals. Criminals Beware of NH.

Poor white trash never thinks it's poor white trash.

I'm a realist. For example, if Florida didn't have A/C, Disney and some beaches you'd have nothing but redneck hillbillies running the show.

Yes. Beaches and Mice. It's messed up.

There are huge, untapped oil reserves off the coast of Florida, but, as we wouldn't want to hurt tourism we can't touch them.

I didn't say I attributed our low crime to the fact that we don't have capital punishment. We have it, we just have one person on death row, and we haven't put someone to death in 60+ years. The man on death row killed a police officer near where I work a few years ago. It enraged the city, of course.

Actually, there are many factors involved in our low crime rate as I know them to be, having lived here five years. We spend money on law enforcement, schools and local community-driven businesses, preserving our natural resources/travel industry. We support ourselves. People are happy in this state for many reasons, but we have our share of problems, yes we do.

Honestly, I think having some darn space between houses is helpful. 😉 Less people, more grass.

It is very easy to get a gun here. I can go get one right now. New England has enjoyed being a low crime area of the US for a long time, and not all of our states have loose gun laws.

There are plenty of crime-riddled states where guns are largely privately-owned in most homes in this country.

NH residents are allowed to own guns for protection against criminals.
Many many legal guns in citizens hands.
Criminals know this and prefer not to mess with a loaded gun.
Criminals commit less crimes.
Less criminals in jail.
Perfect logic.

Criminals don't give a crap about these things. The only thing they care about is not getting their brains fried on a .357 magnum.

that's the most idiot logic i've ever heard, it's been proven that if you add guns into a society it creates more crime, so you've found one state that has slack gun laws and low crime rate congrats, it doesn't change a thing. you pick a state, i'll pick a state. nevada. pretty much the same gun laws as NH but a seriously high crime rate.

2 of the highest states on paprika's death list Mississippi (8.1) and Missouri (7.1) both have slack gun laws. and to mention the state Louisiana and high on the list Maryland.

omg you're an idiot. seriously.
