ok here goes another for me this time with a little annotation
Game 2224000
6...Bc5 probably the cause of all of blacks problems
10.Qh5 looks more accurate than the Qg4 i played
15.Nd2? better was 15.f6+! Kd8 16.Qxh6
17.Rae1? allows black to rid himself of that terrible dark bishop.
looking for a way out i spotted
18.e5!? probably not sound 18...dxe5 19.Rxe5+ Kd8! loses at the very least a pawn for white but who can resist a free rook?
24...Rxf6 is forced otherwise Nd5+ picks up a bishop.
29.Qxd4!? I laugh in the face of danger.
38.g3! and not the premature d6? Bd3+ Ke1 Bxd6 Qxd6 Bf5 would complicate the game immensly.
44...cxb3? allows me to march my pawns forward black can struggle on with Ba5 or a6 this would have forced me to bring in my king.
Originally posted by Sicilian Smauggrrr missed that, looks like a pretty amaturish game. well i guess most of mine are 😕.
You should have won much quicker..
14. Qxf7+!, kd8
15. Be6, Bxe6
16. fxe6, kc8
17. Qf8+!, Rxf8
18. Rxf8++
If 15..Kc8 then
16, Qxd7+, kb8
17. f6 etc, Bishop up and about to Queen, 1-0
Then you could have put it in this thread Thread 26440 😉

15.?
17.?
18.??
Learn some punctuation and don't use "words" like "ne".

Originally posted by ShinidokiThanks for that, superb stuff - I'm curious, though, did you sac the Rook deliberately?
I find this one aesthetically pleasing...especially move 23 onwards, a sac of the exchange followed by my Knights just overpowering the defences...
Game 1989369
Originally posted by Amauroteat that move, I wasn't sure how to proceed, Rook + Knight captures both left me with discovered check....and so, I thought they both worked - but i still wasn't sure....

so I did the worst possible thing.
I flipped a coin. If heads I played RxB If tails NxB
it turned out to be heads....
Also, when its finished, I'll post another game, this time one with a Queen Sac - unfortuantly, I really messed up from move.21 onwards, missing a pretty mate for a uneccesary knight sac - but just before move 21. its a nice game, sprouting from a dodgey opening.

both games are in progress so no comments on what i should play please. the game with the knight sack was a mistake on my part but a couple more moves and i would have made the same move given the same chance.
the other game well he made a knight sack and is going to lose now.
Me as black, I have no idea what this opening is, if it has a name, but i succeeded in opening the right hand side up and exploiting, probably not as well as some of you would be able to though
