Of course they are different and the stronger are Deep Fritz 8, Hiarcs 9
Deep Junior 8, ( now 9 ) and Shredder8.
Of course all you know that processor Pentium 3200 and 512 ram make an engine very stronger than a Pentium 1400 256 ram.

How can we discover a cheater if use Gandalf that is realy strong but no very popular or Tiger 15 or the good freeware Crafty or Comet or Anmon ..........................................................
We must be very carefull because it's possible that all games between two good player are like cheater's games if the policeman isn't a strong honest chessmaster.
Weak players aren't able to understand the difference between an engine and a strong correspondence master how know very well his opening.
Please learn to play chess before say " YOU ARE A CHEATER ".

Well lets imagine one thing for a minute, lets imagine I wasnt "cheating", lets imagine forevergreenwithenvy was totally innocent, I seem to remember my name and the names of others getting dragged through the mud in the PUBLIC forums for quite some time, and no one did a bloody thing about it, no they just sat on there fat arses and waited for all the fuss to blow over, only acting now because it didnt.
Get the hell on with it Russ, boot me out of here, your site is an ffing joke.

It's my contention that the "cheat moderators" will have no teeth at all, given admins reluctance to revoke JW's membership despite the overwhelming evidence that he employs software engines to play his RHP matches.
JW has already been disq. from a tourney because of direct pressure from the encumbent entree's and it looks likely that the Xmas grand entree's will follow suit.
So, I can be forgiven for my preview that all this "cheating moderation platform" will not neccesarily be acted upon by RHP admin. and in fact is simply a PR exercise to appease the masses.
Get real Russ and boot the obvious cheaters now, and thus regain some respect and credibility, otherwise some of us are going to vote with our credibility and the cards that are associated with that.

And do you know what i find even more staggering, some people on this site still persist in the belief that engine use, or cheating as its called cant be proven, good god wake up, it CAN be proven, and its not even that hard to do, you take the tools that they use and turn those tools against them.
Here's a game, youve seen it before, its been in the forums a few times allready, but its a nice little game, and a good example of engine use that CAN be proven.

It's all engine, apart from the opening, there's a couple of moves where i chose 2nd or 3rd best move, but its all engine, and if Grayeyesofsorrow runs it through his fritz 8 he gets the same result, as he has allready done,
If you take out the opening the match rate is 100%, thats proof, no one matches an engine 90-95-100%, not even GM's, i know that, Grayeyes knows it, and so does anyone with any common sense.

Ok cheater so answer this question why did you cheat? I've been curious to know why people use engines to play for them when it's not like they win money or prizes. It would still be wrong but would atleast make some sense. Are your chess skills really that bad? or were you trying to impress someone?
