@Russ saidI can see that the analysis board now behaves for this setting.
Never say sorry! More bug reports are ALWAYS welcome.
That's is a quick fix for tomorrow.
The conditional moves board does not though - again have to toggle it on and off again to get the right mode.
Same comment about the not-used board settings here - check & mate seem not to show in different colours and the animate is irrelevant here - possibly another candidate for hiding these settings from the board settings when accessed via the conditional interface.
Also - on the conditional moves interface I think it's a bit non-intuitive:
Using deep mode I've set four moves (I have an obvious mate in 4 with a slow moving opponent). In chronological order I set moves 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 (in the natural order they would be played in the game).
From the My Games page I select the game and then hit the Conditional link.
From there I hit the 4 queued button and a pop-up appears with the last move shown (4) of the four move sequence.
The [< Prev] link here does nothing, but the [Next >] link takes me to the previous move (3).
The [< Prev] and [Next >] links seem to navigate in the wrong directions through the saved moves.
This would seem to be the same on both the regular and beta sites, so maybe not directly related to the upgrade - but it's something I consider buggy so thought I'd bring it up.
The Compact Captured Material setting is definitely a bug for beta though.
@Ponderable saidThanks Ponderable,
Thread 203501
I am still having some lagging, I know of one other person the U.S. who is also having a problem with lagging. I know there must be others.
It does seem to come and go.
@Very-Rusty saidThe lag seems to have cleared up where I am now. Russ, must have gotten rid of the bots.
Thanks Ponderable,

@orangutan saidThis is now fixed, along with FEN & PGN viewer too.

@orangutan saidAgreed, order has been reversed. 👍

@Russ saidWhen I start one of those games I get this as the starting position -
The "Play Solo vs AI" (from Play Menu) has been set up so first white and black move can make a promotion on the first move.
If possible, if you are on the beta, can you check this works for you if you have not made a promotion in a regular game? Thanks.
Seems a bit skewed.
@Russ saidI have tested it a few times just recently, and it seems to be working fine. It kicked my butt several games in a row too. I tested by promoting to various other pieces as well. The pawn promotion feature is much more useful and visible now, so that is a major improvement! I did not see any problems. 🙂

@mwmiller saidMine is also working now and I was able to Promote several pieces.

@orangutan saidThis was just so everyone could promote right away, as both white and black. It will be reverted back after.
