You will always need to use the URL sent to you previously, it is not automatic. This means, should you need to, you can visit the non-beta site without complication.
Actually you don't need to go back every time to the URL sent previously;
I went into the beta site (after following your link) and saved it as Beta RHP in favourites as well as having the normal RHP; makes it easy; I just go to favouites and decide which version I want to log into.
PS - thank you for toning down the colours
@Russ
Just a thought, but since we see a certain few well-known repeatedly-banned players again and again, could you / would you consider adding a column and a 'sort by' button to the players roster showing date joined (option to sort most recent at the top)? This would help our regular posters to spot recidivists and alert them to site admin.

Thanks I just may try that!!!
Going back to the analysis board and the highlighting.
In contrast to the regular site, If you go back and forth a bit and then change your line - the highlighting starts from the new variation - which may not be where the game is.
In case that's not clear ... Say the game is on move 10 and you play out five or six moves. You review those moves and then decide that move 12 could be different - highlighting now starts from move 12 and not move 11. Regular site still has the highlighting starting at move 11

You can also access it by going to your history
@orangutan saidGood catch - a quick last minute Friday-fix is now live for this.

@orangutan saidAn even more last minute Friday-fix for this too.
On mobile (through Chrome) using the My Games page in 'card' mode.
As the board takes full width on beta, there's little space around the board. It's that space that's responsive to scrolling - trying to see the next game by scrolling anywhere on the board does nothing.
On the regular site, the board is smaller, but you can plop your finger anywhere (including on the board) to start scrolling.
I've got a Pixel 9 pro (Android 16) and Chrome version 139.0.7258.143
The boards can be scrolled now by touch dragging on them, but in addition, are also clickable (tappable?) to get to the game.
@Russ saidNice.

Works well.
I'll try not to ruin your weekend with more "findings".
@orangutan saidPlease do! Better now than later!

@Russ,
Thanks, I had a rook taken and it didn't show. I believe it was marked with an x if I am correct on that, showing as the last piece taken.
I see what is being done in the Beta Testing now, it is showing the last piece taken. I like it actually!!
I especially like when one hits on the piece is shows you everywhere that piece can go. It will be a big help to the beginners and us that play a lot of games and may have missed something!!! Now Zorro The Fox is going to be even harder to try and beat. 🙂
@Very-Rusty saidI believe that is by design @Very-Rusty.
Beta Testing:
I have noticed when I message someone while playing a game or they message me the board and pieces get smaller. If not messaging the board and pieces stay the same size.
From what @Russ has said, the board should take up as much space as it can while remaining on screen - so when messages need displaying, the board is gonna have to shrink to allow it still to be seen in entirety.
@orangutan saidWhen messaging or receiving message the pieces and board shrink. There is no way to change this is there? I just prefer looking at a bigger board is all.
I believe that is by design @Very-Rusty.
