@Very-Rusty saidThis should have been there from the start, I regret not adding this years ago to help onboard new players. Its optional for those who don't like it.
I like the feature where when you go to move a piece it shows you were that particular piece can go. This will be a great feature for the new players and be helpful to the Older seasoned players in case they miss a spot the piece could have went.
@Russ saidPersonally I like it.

I just noticed on some of the opponents boards are smaller than the one I use. Can they be made larger to get a better look at the board? This is just on some of them not all.
@Very-Rusty saidI'm not clear on what you mean here. Can you provide mode details?

@Russ saidI was playing an opponent and his board appeared smaller than the one I use. It doesn't happen on all of them and just happened the one time so far.

GannonKnight This is the player who's board appears smaller than the one that usually show up which is larger.
@Very-Rusty saidIs it when there is a message displayed above the board?

@Russ saidNo message just the board and pieces come up smaller.

@Russ saidStill working correctly on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 running Firefox 78.15.0esr (64-b). However, Safari Version 10.1.2 (10603.3.8) chokes at login window.
So far no one has said they can't see the board at all on Window 7 or an obscure Linux distribution, so that is a small victory! (I'll regret saying this, I'm sure)
There will be obsolete Macs/Safari combinations that don't work though, I'm just not sure right now how far back you need to go to break it without firing up very old hardware.

I notice that in the beta version, pieces taken are organized under the main board on a single line, one colour left-justified, the other color right-justified. IMO, it was neater and instantaeous to see the relative standings when you had them both aligned left, Q under Q, R under R, and so on: not so intuitive now in beta.
@moonbus saidThis is now fixed.
@Russ
Analysis board on iPhone13 jumps (auto-scrolls upwards a few lines) whenever I move a piece, so I have to manually swipe down again to get back to the board. Didn't used to do that. I can send you a movie of it, if you need to see the effect. Anyway, it's mildly annoying (not a 'feature' ).
This relates to the move log automatically scrolling to show the current move and making sure the move is in view. Fine on desktop, but breaks the UI on mobile where the move log is often not visible. So, this is disabled on mobile.

@moonbus saidThanks for looking into that - it is good to know.

"Apple does not provide official support for macOS 10.10 Yosemite, as it reached its end-of-life status for software support in 2019"
I don't think it is unreasonable to abandon Safari 10.1.2 at this point, more so as there are alternative options. I suspect the current production login doesn't work either as no significant changes within this beta for login.

Goin' cycling before the sun sets. I'll check iPad Mini functionality later tonight.
@Russ saidI use to have it on my previous keyboard where it had a button for screen shot. I know there must be another way to take one. I just don't know how.
@Very-Rusty
Can you send a screen shot of this? I'll dm you an email address.
@moonbus saidI support both in the code, so this could become an option.

This method saves vertical space, as I want to end the need for vertical scrolling on game boards on desktop/landscape tablets.
@Russ saidCould we have a switch-option, then ? I have some horizontal monitors and some vertical ones, so having an option would be nice. It can't be more difficult to code than dark and light modes. uuuuh, feature creep, feature creep !
