@kellyjay saidBut you haven't answered the question. I am not talking about people losing their faith. That's a red herring. I am asking you if a believer can still go to "Hell" because of their "sins" even though they still believe in Jesus?
You are still asking the same question after you have received answers; this is just spewing.
@fmf saidIf you are abiding in Christ, no, if you walk away for any reason, you are not abiding in Christ.

@kellyjay saidI get it. So there must be more than just faith in Jesus alone to "save" a believer. There must be some element of "performance" [for want of a better word] that amounts to "abiding". I get it.

Some suggestions:
Sincere striving to minimize "sinning"?
Obeying Jesus's commandments to the best of one's ability?
Good works [so that faith is not "dead"]?
What else?
@fmf
If christian theology is correct, I think there are self-declared christians on this board who do more to prevent salvation than any atheist ever could.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidFirst I’m hearing of it.
Witness Lee (sonship's false preacher) said Christians (both Catholic and Protestant) were in an organization of Satan.
Have you called that out as blasphemy?
Can you produce the quote?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou don’t have to accept it. And since you’re an atheist, I would hardly expect you to.
All humans, irrespective of their belief in God, occasionally do bad things.
It is our own moral compasses that dictate how frequent these lapses in character occur. Your moral compass may be tied up with your religious beliefs, but I don't accept this means you 'sin' less or will eventually 'sin' less. The world simply doesn't support that hypothesis.
@rajk999 saidYou’re omitting “through faith in Christ Jesus.”
How many times have you asked that same question. ... lol 😀
You will hear it again .. saved by Grace .... .. saved by Grace .... .. saved by Grace .... .. saved by Grace .... .. saved by Grace .... .. saved by Grace ....
Christians are saved by Grace *through faith in Christ Jesus.*
@fmf saidGrace through faith is what saves us, the work that Jesus did. We cannot merit His mercy so that saves us. We will from there follow Him or not, we can obey Him or not all of which has been covered in great detail.

Which you ask about after being given answers over and again. If you want to say we are saved by our efforts you are removing grace through faith from the equation and replace it with our efforts.
