And you're just a name calling judgmentalist. Your mind is so polluted with hatred against anyone that believes what the Bible says that you can't refrain from the constant slinging of your vitriolic bile and contempt.

It's perfectly clear what the Bible says happens to those that hate God and love(agape) darkness. Everlasting punishment, outer darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth where their worm never dies.

The Bible is perfectly clear that the dead will stand before God's throne and be judged according to their works. After that they are cast into the lake of fire to "be tormented day and night for ever and ever" along with the beast, the false prophet and Satan.

How does it feel to know your liberal systematic theology is at variance with the truth of God's Word?

Jesus speaks of such punishment for those who do not do good works.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand,
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked,
and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
(Matthew 25:41-43 KJV)

You and your church preach a doctrine that encourages the avoidance of good works

Maybe you might be in line to receive this eternal torment that you seem to wish on others.

"You and your church preach a doctrine that encourages the avoidance of good works "

How do you know what his church preaches, how do you know they encourage the avoidance of good works? Where are you getting your information?

Human nature. Rules that do not proactively encourage and assert the need to do something might as well be encouraging its neglect.

See FMFs post. Its dead on target. Plus SS, like you have told me a dozen times good luck with doing good works .. see if you can work your way to heaven.

Clearly neither of you people are followers of Christ. Christians in name only.

I wasn't aware you instead of Christ judges other men? Scripture is clear it is abiding in Christ we are saved by His grace through faith, and with God's Spirit we will be doing good works. No one I've seen here ever encouraged the avoidance of good works suggesting that isn't truthful!

Your words and judgments you can answer for as I will for mine. Will Jesus say when judgment comes, "I never knew you?"

One of the clearest examples was Romans1009 who posted here about 10,000 times in 2018; he said Christians must not try to do good works on their own initiative and that whatever works they do or don't do is up to the "indwelling Holy Spirit". He said there was no obligation for Christians to try to obey Jesus' commandments and that whether they obeyed them or not, or the extent to which they obeyed them was a matter for the "Holy Spirit". You remained silent, I note, even on this, a favourite topic of yours. Your disagreement with Rajk999 also indicates that you apparently thought Romans1009 was more or less right.

I am at liberty to interpret what other men say. If that is what you call judging then that is fine. You and your doctrine promote complacency and does not encourage others to go out and do good works.

I have asked you before and you failed to give a clear answer because it will prove that your doctrine contain gaping holes and make it contrary to Christ. How does one abide in Christ ?

I will answer because I know of your mo which is to beat around the bush and make irrelevant statements. Proof that someone is abiding in Christ is the good works and righteousness. Professions of faith, praying, meeting with Christians, bible study are all meaningless and shallow. It is the ones who do good works who enter the Kingdom of God. All others will be cast out. To abide in Christ = good works

If you are abiding in Christ you will be doing good works, you will for His love towards others is real and it is always doing good. Our trust is in Christ not in the work of our hands, we are called to take up our cross and follow Him, we are told to take His yoke upon us and learn of Him. We were told by Jesus He was sending the Holy Spirit to us and if we did not have God’s Spirit we didn’t belong to God.

God is preparing His church, our words and deeds will come under judgment, but it’s Christ who saves us not our efforts.

So you are conceding that a Christian must do good works, then. Someone who believes they are "forgiven" and "saved" by Jesus, but does not do good works, faces "damnation", right?

I sincerely hope so. I hope we will all be there and have a good laugh at how we argued.😀
