Telling people that they will be led by the Spirit of God, or have the Holy Spirit, and they will live out their lives doing good works, if their accept Jesus is false church nonsense.

What that does to the gullible man is that everything he does after accepting Jesus is Gods will, its good works or if it is a sin it will be forgiven. It is all false teachings.

Your twisting my words again, why don't you just limit your disagreements to those things said instead of implying I'm suggesting things I've not said?

- you have accepted Jesus
- you have Gods Spirit
- you will live out your life doing the good works God has for you to do

Now Jesus will judge whether or not you actually succeed in doing that.

Is it your contention that all who profess faith in Christ do good works?

Don't know why you resist the Holy Spirit, Jesus promised Him to us to help us. You really do need to concern yourself with Him much more than me or anyone else. Think about it, the Spirit of God in you teaching you the things of God, out of all the things in the whole world what would Satan want less to occur than that? It isn't like I score brownie points if you and God become that close. There is no benifit to me or anyone on the planet except you and God where that relationship matters. The scriptures teach the Holy Spirit is for those that belong to God, Jesus said He was going to send Him, and give Him to those that, ask Him. Correct, I accepted Christ into my life when I was 25, in my 60's now, He turned my life around out of the life I was living, totally one given to seeking pleasure just for myself, into a much better one walking with the Lord, one much deeper and more fulfilling. God blessed me with His Spirit yes. Yes, the Lord blesses me with the honor of doing things that need done.

Of course Jesus will judge, but even the verses you love quoting I have pointed out to you the sheep and goats were separated before the works were even brought up. There were those who by their nature helped others not to score points but because they were acting out of love, when Jesus spoke about those things they did out of love it caught them by surprise. Then there were those who lived selfish lives, they were rejected out of hand.

Profession of faith, and belonging to Christ don't always mean the same thing. There are going to plenty of those that are going to hear the words, depart from me I never knew you. Many might even try to tell Jesus about the things they did in His name, they just never took the time to get to know Him, instead they did what they thought was their religious duty, much like the religious man Jesus spoke of that thanked God he wasn't like other men, he was set apart by the things he did.

2. and you will live out your life doing good works.

Nowhere.
