It is impossible to please God, you are only justified by faith in Jesus Christ.
James 2: 24 : Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith.

Book of RBHILL: It is impossible to please God, you are only justified by faith in Jesus Christ

Who's right, RB? You or the Bible???

Go read Eph. 2:8-10.
Go read James 2:24; in fact the whole chapter.

So who's right? You and Paul? Or James and Jesus? And aren't the two passages cited yours from Ephesians and the one from James in DIRECT contradiction? How can that be if the Bible is inerrant?

The Bible has no contradictions.
If a situation arises where it is more appropriate to quote one passage rather than another, well that's what God gave you a brain for, to pick the correct passage to cite.
Tomorrow, a situation may arise where it is better to quote the other passage.
No contradiction, just flexibility.
Yup.

Does that also hold for the Book of RBHILL as well? Again:

James 2: 24 : Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith.

Book of RBHILL: you are only justified by faith in Jesus Christ

Quite a pickle, huh?

So, RBHILL, did you feed the hungry this week?

If not, we can conclude that you are not saved.

When Paul accepted Christ on the road, Chirst gave him everything he needed to know. Paul is in heaven and yet he had hundred of Christians killed.

Paul at best was a theologian, writing his interpretation of the message, his words are not God's words.Contending that they are is the same as contending Paul is God and Jesus was wrong.

Is That your contention ? RB ?

He was saved by God on the road, my boy.

O.S.A.S.

He was the only one most blessed by God in all the Bible, and he had a personal relationship and an incounter with Christ. But yet all humans are blessed saved or not because we all breath are and are still alive. But for myself I have the one blessing that I will every need which is eternal life in Christ Jesus.

you only have Paul's word about that.

and I ain't your boy.

You are deluding yourself RB, Paul cannot offer you salvation, if you really were a Christian , you would KNOW that.

at best he was terrified on the road, possibly by a hallucination as no one with him saw it or heard it.

you act like he was the 13th Apostle, isn't that the number of coins in Judas' purse?

I guess we can conclude that you are not saved yet, because you keep lying
about the contents of the Bible, intentionally misrepresenting God's Word.

And, you know in your heart of hearts, you haven't done nearly as much as
you could be doing for the poor -- that is, not seeing the face of Christ in
the people in the most need.

You won't need to pack a sweater where you will be going!

Whatsa matter, RB; no fundie cheat sheet can resolve the contradiction? Which is right: Ephesians 2: 8-10 or James 2:24? There's a REAL Bible study for ya!!
