When? Where?

I fear you have already lost it.

It's difficult to follow random and disconnected thought patterns.

The mind is a battlefield. The pursuit of excellence is accomplished through the mastery of thought.

That's just an example of my own randomness.

Randomness is a quality I welcome in my chess opponents. For myself, I prefer clarity of thought and serene mindfulness.

Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh tells us, “Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future.”

Well, this may appear as randomness, but for some reason this quote came to me as I read your post.

It's interesting that verse 29 of Matthew 11 is the only place in the synoptic gospels where Jesus makes a personal autobiographical description of Himself.

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Italics mine.

Matthew 11:29 and its content is not "autobiographical". The words were written by an anonymous author - referred to as "Matthew" - maybe 40 or 50 years after Jesus was executed by the Romans.

Jesus said it.

Matthew wrote it years after.

You are deceived if you believe otherwise.

The issue isn't your religious belief about Jesus. The issue is your incorrect use of the word "autobiographical".

'The forum' knows exactly what I'm talking about. You're apparently the only one that doesn't. So your calling a poster out for 'ignorance' is, indeed, the height of irony.

My point is you cannot believe EVER that Christianity is exactly the same no matter how many other religions you or I know are man made.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Only because they are NOT the same, I thought I made that clear.

There indeed IS light at the end of the tunnel precisely BECAUSE they are not the same. It's really not that hard to figure out, man.

Your issue is unbelief, which renders your recognition of Jesus' description of Himself in Matthew 11:29 as autobiographical inoperative.

In his case, it's called "stream of conciousness".
