mean those that can be saved from the real death would be lost forever. It is still going to
happen at some point, enough will be enough and all the crying you are doing about the
prolonged suffering will be replaced by cries due to the certain end in judgment.
At neither time have you been thankful to God who gave you all the good that you and
those you care about have. Instead you curse the One that has blessed you.
The end of this life isn't end of our lives. It is where we make our own beds for the
choices we do make and we will pay for them.
You are insulting me by saying I only care about the suffering of Christians, but I don't
think you care about that. It is just a cheap shot you make to get a dig in.

I say a real deity would stop such suffering, first by never having religions that are at each other's throats. The fact there are just strengthens my case no deity was involved in the creation of any of these organized religions from Judaism to Christianity, to Islam, to Hindu and all the rest, it just shows, either a god doesn't care people are torturing in some god's name or it WANTS it that way. Doesn't seem to be any middle ground on that.

You could install a solar heater, we used them in Jerusalem which of course is a place with lots of sun. They can still be used in the US. You can even build your own and the water comes out pretty darn hot. In conjunction with your existing heater it can cut the cost of hot water in half.
