Please, just spout about the Bible; when you try to talk about history and/or current events you come off as about as knowledgeable as RBHILL.
Sounds like your usual all persuasive argument.

Yes, it lacks the intellectual beauty of "God can kill anyone he pleases because he's God" or "Egypt had slaves. Slavery is bad. Therefore, God could kill anybody or everybody in Egypt because they were bad by proxy."

And it assumes that you know everything God knows and so you don’t have to explain your position.

Most people saw slaves as inferior. The law afforded many rights to whites and no rights to slaves. Some may have thought differently, but slaves where treated extremely poorly. The scripture says that God will punish those nations that turn away from him and that’s what he did.

Just because "most people did something bad" they should all be punished? So, according to your argument, all of the first-born Egyptians were guilty by association?

God didn’t punish everybody.

My point is that we don’t know. God knew what those first born would become, and he knew what they had done in their previous lives. Do you have this knowledge? Do you know everything there is to know about what happened? Seriously, how can you judge something that you know nothing about?

Babies die everyday. People are born under horrendous circumstances everyday. You can choose to blame God for this even though you have no idea what’s actually going on, or you can suspend judgment and search for the truth yourself.

Instead of turning to a forum for answers, why not turn to God? If God doesn’t give you an answer that you can accept, you can always continue to hate him. The idea is to find the truth, not wallow in ignorance and draw bad conclusions based on insufficient data.

As I understand it.

Edit: Reincarnation is the only way to explain the conditions that some are born under.

Is everybody reincarnated, or just those Egyptians?

Is this supported in Scripture?

So there is really no heaven or hell, if everybody is born as a new person on Earth, correct?

Everything that is in the Bible is open to interpretation, but in my interpretation there are plenty of verses that support it.
