Semi-auto just means that you can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger, which includes most handguns today. I know they're called "automatics", but it's just semi-auto, not full-auto, which means it keeps firing as long as you hold the trigger, like a machine gun.
If all who had guns had that same limitation it could make a differance in mass murders. At least some would have a better chance in running for safety but no chance at all with fully automatic ones.

And what kind of people are going to get this second chance? The bible says it will be all peace loving humans and not ones who tend to lean to taking care of themselves with their own guns and would be willing to kill as you have said many times?
Would you let yourself into a peaceful world like that and be willing to turn your back to being vengful and kill to protect your life style?
If someone did do wrong would you be the first to form a lench mob to go after them or let God take care of this?
