Yes there are other ways to kill besides using a gun. But it's obvious what does the most damage and is used many times over the most often.

Well this thread is about guns. You should start a new one about abotions which I also hate.
But back to the issue is one cannot walk into a movie theater and do abortions on innocent people as they can kill with guns. Right?

I think a knife or ax or chainsaw would do more damage than most guns......most ammo will go right through you unless it's hollow points or .22 will bounce around inside of you. however a chainsaw would be pretty nasty

so yeah, i would say that before guns, or even when guns took 10 seconds to reload after firing one shot, there were less murders. considerably less. would you like to compare how many deaths there were in the american civil war or WWII compared to any war fought in medieval europe?

dude, when you have several bullets coming at you fired from automatic guns from any possible distance, you can't possibly say that guns do less damage than a knife because some bullets will go through you under the right circumstances, without puncturing vital organs and with minimal damage. it is a gimmick argument, let's not resort to these long shots.

as far as a chainsaw, well it's about as useful mentioning that as saying that a monster truck falling on you does more damage than a hand gun.

do you think the german jews would have stood more chance against a brutal, organized nazi SA paramilitary if they had guns? that a paramilitary group with years of experience, that had the support of the german government and even lots of german civilians could be turned way by a jewish family with guns? or even an entire jewish neighborhood, provided they would organize themselves?
