I thing Kelly's lack of interest in the laws of Europe is more based on his religion than his nationality. He only has to render unto his Caesar, and is not much concerned about other Caesars. Fact check, Kelly?

My lack of concern has more to do with the wars and everything that is wrong over
there. They can and should do what they think is best for their own country, but
they have no say in how we deal with ours. You bringing up my religion just shows
a pathetic bias on your part.

What wars, you guys have been fighting each other over there forever and you
have to ask what wars? You live in a country with nothing but water around you
and you want to lecture others on how well your laws work. Glancing at BBC
America I just read an artical about a teenage girl who was stabbed to death and
then burned.

Forgive me if I take your point of view and ignore it.
You have your own issues, I don't really care how you feel about mine.

Your lack of concern is due to your total pig ignorance of anything outside of your own state...

And most of the stuff Inside your own state.

Just goggle european wars, you guys have something going on all the time.
I was thinking of stuff in the mid 19th Century, but man what list.

It doesn't really matter...as I pointed out to you earlier, you have your issues

Try as I might, I can't see the connection.

So "most cases" you okay with rapes and deaths on those times that it didn't
go the way you'd like? Those deaths and rapes are just something we should
all live with?
Kelly
Yes I'm fine with that.

2012 stats:
England and Wales, homicide by firearm rate per 100,000 pop - 0.07
United States, homicide by firearm rate per 100,000 pop - 2.97

I don't like the phrase 'no-brainer', but it seems appropriate here.

Wow, I guess I cannot argue with that. If your okay with people being raped and
murdered so that you can take away guns, that is something I cannot argue with
only wonder about. Let England have countries surrounding it that push drugs
into it, that push human trafficing into it, so that England must deal with instead of
sitting on an island out in the water those numbers would change. Your comparison
is apples and oranges, the drug war in this country will continue with or without
gun laws going into affect. The issue again isn't 'guns' it is people and what they
are willing to do for a dollar or pleasure.
Kelly

Without guns, things in this world would probably be even worse than they are now. 😏

If you want to talk about drugs, you ought to start a new thread, I'd be happy to discuss our views. Likewise with human trafficking.

This thread is about guns. It's about how widespread gun-ownership leads to a lot of deaths, a fact which is indisputable. It's about how you are able to interpret Christ's message of peace and love as support for killing people who, for whatever reason, have chosen to infringe the perceived liberty of people such as yourself.

Let me ask you KellyJay, at what point do you pull the trigger? You awake to hear an intruder downstairs in your house, you get your gun, you creep down the stairs, you see the intruder helping himself to your stuff, his back to you. Do you shoot? Do you tell him you have a gun? He turns around to face you, he has a gun too. He tells you to go back upstairs. Do you shoot? He raises the gun and points it at you, do you shoot?
