I am all for limiting or banning atomic and nuclear weapons because they seem to have no other purpose than to kill. The atomic bomb did come in handy in WWII, however, I don't think it would be good if they were freely available. I do believe God gave America the atomic bomb for that specific time in history, however, we have been lacking in our stewardship of that technology and now it is too widely available.

this means that our bad cities are safer than your bad cities and our good areas are safer than your good areas. so you have proven nothing other than europe is safer than america.
this leads us to the next point. why is europe safer than america. you have said that its a people problem not a gun problem.
so my next question to you is - why do you think people in america are on average more violent than europeans?

and I don't hang out in the dangerous parts here. I don't know the dangerous
parts of Europe and you do have your own problems. I felt safer in Israel than
I did in Chicago the guns they have on the streets keeps a lot of issues down to
next to nothing. The rockets and people who want to blow themselves up you

I guess I should make something up than? Seriously, if you want an honest
answer; allow me to give you one, if you want me to make up something,
just say that.
I think progressives rob the poor of opportunity, so that drugs and other
easy cheap skill sets are required to get a head. I don't think people are
asked to do for themselves so they don't, they look for the cheap and want
to live off others as much as possible. This causes a lot people to turn to the
easy but more often deadly world of drugs and gangs.
The more people are weaned off other people's money the worse it will be
for them, until they take care of themselves.

for your country to be more violent there has to be something different. what makes the u.s. different to europe??? we have drugs, gang and high unemployment, we have a much bigger welfare state than you so we have more people getting 'free' money for no work, our poor get much more money given by the state than yours so the people wanting free stuff argument doesnt work.

using your logic america would have a bigger drugs problem, but it doesnt its roughly the same as europe.
we have huge areas of cities that are lost to a welfare-drug-culture. the town i grew up in was recently voted the worst place to live in the uk. i know what its like. i guess america is isolated so the majority of your news is about yourself so maybe you think you are the only ones with massive drug and welfare problems.......but we all do, statistics will show you that america has the same level of drug abuse as the rest of the developed world. regardless of how close your drug producers are you have the same per head level of drugs in your shores.
so i ask you, we have drugs you have drugs, so thats not the reason....why else do you have a more violent society?
