As clear as mud.
I would have thought that, "I don't talk about it" would have been enough, I guess I could have been a little clearer.

I'll help you out. Examples of things you might do without talking about.

Offering marriage, emotional, mental health counselling.
Offering religious guidance.
Distributing food and financial help to those in need.
Just wink if any of those things are the kind of things you might do and not talk about.

Love is always about others and what is best for them.
Is self love a sin?

Sin and evil are perversions of good, if there is good there, righteousness, in taking care of one's self that would be that, but if it comes to what is good and just gets perverted to self then that would be a sin due to self-love.

My point was not to set out to say, do these things, as if doing these things were some rules to be good. When you are doing good living your life, it should be like our prayers, our focus should be doing everything from what is done out of sight of other people, it needs to be our way of life. When we are alone and we can slack off at work, instead do our jobs as unto the Lord. When doing things when we are alone, or as we are in public the focus should always be on doing things right and unto God.

This helps us train ourselves to do right when we are doing good in secret, training ourselves to overcome temptations for things done out of sight and unknown to all but God. Like a basketball player who shoots hundreds of shots in practice doing good unto the Lord, so when the big temptations come we have trained ourselves to do good by doing good in all things even that which we think may be a little thing.

These are good practices, but Jesus is just and our justifier, we must never lose sight of that. Loving God and others means our focus is doing good to God and others not for the praise of man but God, if your life is to do that, even man will notice, but that should never be the goal.

So, love isn't always about others? (You are after all told to love others as you love yourself).

Loving God and others are the two great commandments, we by nature feed ourselves when we are hungry, get some means to stay warm when cold. We need to do that to others and those that do that even at a cost to themselves are walking out true love.

It seems that your love and compassion for others doesn't extend to all of the murdering, thieving, pet - eating people (according to you and the esteemed one who you want to be President of the US) who are trying to enter your country, not to mention homosexuals, wherever they may be.

What's the matter, tired of your contradictions and being exposed? Never mind, go to sleep, when you wake up maybe you'll be able to work out what it really is that you think.

You so full of yourself it is not funny. You accuse me of having desires for the harm of others, when you simply made that up out of your imagination. Nothing you accuse me of is based on things I have said, you are not the only one here who does that either. If I don’t agree with you, it must mean the most vile thing you can say has to be true about me. Hate mongering colors all disagreements as proof of someone’s vile nature, only a level headed person can agree to disagree without strife!

When did I say you have 'desires for the harm of others'? I merely point out that your apparent love for others doesn't extend to those whom I have specified. You have made it very clear, for example, that you regard homosexuality as a sin, I disagree with you. It isn't I who has mongered any hate, and I'm quite happy to agree to disagree without 'strife'. All I expect is that people own what they say.

Again only in your imagination, you have nothing to based that on with what I have said! You are perpetually imagining the worst no matter what is said, you will feel it justifies the most horrible things you can come up with.

All I have 'come up with' are things that you have written on these forums. You can deny them 'til the cows come home, but everyone else here I'm sure knows very well how you regard homosexuality, and all because that's how your loving, Christian teachings tell you to regard it. Or perhaps you are learning to think for yourself, and no longer regard homosexuality as a sin? Please feel free to clarify.
