I think so. Consider:

'Throughout history, most people have believed in some sort of God. Therefore, God exists.'

'The Bible says god exists, therefore god exists.'

'God must exist: so many people find happiness in religion.'

'Will you accept Jesus as your saviour, or burn for eternity in Hell?'

And then, the IDers favorite platitude:

'The universe is like an intricate watch.
A watch must have been designed by a watchmaker.
Therefore, the universe must have been designed by some kind of creator.'

It is all in the timing. 🙂

If God does not exist then why do you care if he does or not?

Do you know the Bible contains the words, "...there is no God" a couple of times?😉

Isaiah 44:6 - Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Isaiah 45:5 - I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 🙂

Where's the punchline? 😉

PS: You're just like that cross-eyed olympic discuss-thrower that kept all the spectators on their toes.

Wow. Stunningly apropos. I'm going to read that sentence again, to see if it makes any sense a second time around.

edit: nope.

the only real fallacy there is that you call that "logic".

'Will you accept Jesus as your saviour, or burn for eternity in Hell?' is not a logical statement. it is, i think, true but it cannot be found logically from anything. it is something you have to learn...

and the first one is a curious one-worthy of it's own thread, perhaps?

Women = money x time
Time = money

Therefor

Women = money x money = money^2

Money is the root of all evil

Therefor

Women = Evil.

that, however, is good, mathematical, logic. completly unrefutable.
