"The Mighty One, God, Jehovah speaks and summons the earth . . . " (Psalm 50:1)
And it is still there. John wrote that Isaiah saw Christ when he saw Jehovah the King.
"These things said Isaiah because he saw His [Christ's] glory and spoke concerning Him." (John 12:40,41)
I saw the Lord sitting on a high and lofty throne, and the train of His robe filled the temple, Seraphim hovered over Him . . . And one called to the other, saying: Holy, holy, holy, JEHOVAH of hosts: The whole earth is filled with His glory . . . Then I said, Woe is me, for I am finished! For I am a man of unclean lips, And in the midst of a people of unclean lips I dwell; Yet my eyes have seen the King, JEHOVAH of hosts." (See Isaiah 6:1-6).
The verses have not been sneered or snided or snarked away. Amazing. God's word still says it.
Jehovah is still Mighty God in Deut. 10:17.
"For it is Jehovah your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, one who does not regard persons, and does not take bribes:" (Deut 10:17)
And Jehovah is STILL the mighty God in Jer. 32:18.
"Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, Jehovah of hosts, is His name," (Jer. 32:18)
And the Word is still with God and was God . . . and became flesh in John 1:1,14.
Hmmm. It's all still there.
