@rajk999 saidYou've perfectly described yourself here for us; thank you rajk666.
You do not understand the man. He thinks he is a teacher, a lecturer, a preacher, and everyone here are students and potential converts / devotees. He cannot discuss a topic as an equal on a one to one basis, exchanging ideas and points. Quite probably [as Divegeester pointed out recently], he has superiors in his church looking on at how he handles these discussions hence h ...[text shortened]... playing with words. Your have balls if you want to encourage him to continue discussing anything.
I want to meet people genuinely hungry and thirsty to know Jesus Christ and are not ashamed to be seen as such. People who just want their curiosity tickled I turn off.
When I was seeking for God I didn't care if the truth came by sermon, discussion, tract, song, or any other means. If I distract you from meeting Christ Himself in any way, please avoid me.
@sonship saidI would be more than happy to speak to you on Zoom Jack. PM me.
@medullahIt's the cutting and pasting sermons that I struggle with. I want to discover the real Son.
I HAVE NO IDEA of what you mean by -
"the real Son". For what its worth to you or not, what you see here is what I am.
Would you like the two of us to meet on ZOOM ?
Would that be more the real Jack Wilmore (aka sonship) to you ???
I do not invite everybody just yet.
@sonship saidHow are you (anyone) going to identify him?
To the antichrist question with maximum brevity.
IF I give you the maximum short to the point answer on the Antichrist it PROBABLY will only give rise to an objection as if I missed something.
The antichrist is a person (the MAN of sin) with a number which is the number of a man.
And now you are likely to spell out problems with this view which you think I am unaware of.
@medullah
My way of answering this is encouraging you to know Christ real well.
Then any counterfeit will not be easy to fool you.
Now I am on EST.
Send me a PM and your time zone and I'll arrange for us to meet on Zoom.
Be happy to. You may find me more conversational that way.
And I see you want me to PM you. OK. Keep it private.
The Antichrist will be a very good person for a period of time.
He will be scary intelligent, physicaly imposing, and with solutions, a hero to many.
But he will be assassinated. When he comes back in a pseudo resurrection as a Satanic miracle he will be completely terrible.
He initially arrives a great brilliant beloved solver of problems.
He is killed and comes back in resuscitation as the worst monster tyrant in history.
This is brief and all can be backed up by the Bible's revelation.
@sonship saidThis is one theory; and nothing more. I've seen many; the strange thing is, when one predicts the future, no one can prove them wrong until that future becomes the past.

I question you when you say "the anti-Christ will be a very good person for some time." He will be a deceiver with some super-natual powers; but good person for some time, I say not.
@sonship saidOk you have accepted the challenge and put your marker down (my thanks), so now comes the hard bit 😉

You need to back each of those statements with a scripture, not a lecture.
@KingDavid403
I'm kind of with you and already thinking in terms of somebody with more clout than a politician say like Bill Gates?
@medullah saidIt was another of their many wrong guesses about end times. The claim was that Christ would return in 1975. They've since stopped prognosticating, because they now claim that Christ already came back in 1914. No kidding.
@Rajk999
I think that they (JW's) are more associated with trying to crack big prophesies than anyone else that I can think of, though there are not stand alone.
I worked with one in the 90's that actually admitted that they had got something majorly wrong in the early 70's - might of been Armageddon?
I haven't heard of any of them selling homes, but I have read somewhere recently of Kingdom Halls in America being sold?
@kingdavid403 saidI believe he got more right than wrong in that post.

People,
Accumulating knowledge and information is easy so you can be "dead right." That's one thing. I try to nourish faith. C'ause faith can TOUCH God.
That is why my posts sometimes sound devotional.
Peter told the Christians not just to "teach" the flock, but to "feed" them (1 Pet. 5:2).
And Paul wrote "If you lay these things before the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, being NOURISHED with the words of the faith and of the good teaching which you have closely followed." (1 Tim. 4:6)
