Paul is referring to those who think they will be justified by the law, and he’s saying it’s not enough to hear and know the law, you’ve got to follow it. And in another part of Scripture, Paul notes that he who tries to justify himself by the law is a debtor to do the whole law - no exceptions.

No one can keep the whole law without error. That is why God instituted the sacrificial system in the Old Testament, so flawed human beings could atone for their inevitable stumbles.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it".

The majority of people in this world don't believe that Jesus is the way.

Surely you’re not suggesting people who sincerely accepted Christ into their hearts are just “talkers?” They are actually the ones who are saved, not those who try to justify themselves or make themselves righteous.

And, as far as “talkers,” you talk a great deal in this forum so you could be classified as a “talker” quite easily.

But, on another note, how do you suppose one follows Jesus’ command re: the Great Commission? Isn’t talking necessary to lead people to Christ?
