Probably because pissing on other Christians is YOUR schtick.
From what I've been witnessing, you have been "pissing on other Christians" here for almost 15 years. Is the nature of your conflict with those "other Christians" different from the the conflict divegeester has had with "other Christians" during debates on this message board?

If its true what is your problem with the text?

You are big on claiming those that disagree with you, and don’t see things the same way you do are dishonest.

So it can be the truth but I wrong because I accept it as such, even if it is a metaphor or symbolism?

Okay

"My Father's house has many rooms".

Is there a house (mansion) in the heavens? And a room waiting for us?
Well they better be real rooms.

I've ordered furniture and everything.

So your interpretation has the rooms only available unfurnished?

Seems like a raw deal.

I take the whole Bible as the Word of God, while both of you pick and choose which parts you like and dislike so you reject them.
But you dont understand the whole bible. I doubt anyone here does.

I would worry about hiding truth from them that need to hear it. You are playing with the Word when you accuse me of believing in text as if that is wrong, then a little later acknowledge all scripture truth even the metaphors.

If you don’t understand it, how is it you think all others are like you?
