-Removed-If you have a lack of knowledge then i suggest you get some because you will be arguing from a position of ignorance and unable to comment on the veracity of the text other than to say, 'im unconvinced','you are a cultist', etc etc and unable to provide any kind of reason, like you already have.

this was merely a suggestion based on my perceptions of his personality, it contains no insults. Hard to do a personal avatar without references to the personality, don't you think? I could do one for you because that tough guy image isn't working for me dude.

-Removed-If you are not knowledgeable enough to know what the grammatical construct of the verse is nor on the lexical meaning of the terms then its no wonder that it appears alien to you. Go to Biblehub, look up the verse and then come back.
I have already provided reason and evidence, that you failed to comprehend it is not my problem.
-Removed-I recall the time robbie listed the languages he claimed to speak and forgot to mention Greek (of any kind) till I pointed it out to him that he had, in the past, claimed to be a fluent speaker of the modern version and a fluent reader of the ancient one. Strange thing to forget when listing languages one is fluent in.😉

A JW challenge:
Colossians 1:15 states with regard to Jesus, 'the firstborn of all creation'. You and your dishonest cohorts have attempted to state that the term firstborn is not made with reference to progeny when in fact up until this point it is used more than thirty times in the Bible with regard to progeny. You have attempted to state that its made with reference to Christs preeminence which even if we allow for that to be true, his is still of the creation, a fact that you cannot escape. All that your vain slithering would indicate is that he would be a preeminent part of the creation, but a part of the creation never the less which makes you an idolater.
Paul writes that Jesus is the Firstborn of all creation and follows with the word BECAUSE. It is because of something that Christ is "the Firstborn of all creation"
Paul did not say that Christ is the Firstborn of all creation BECAUSE He was the first thing God created. Paul did not say it is because Christ was the first angel created. He doesn't even say it is because Christ was the first created thing.
The BECAUSE determining that Christ is the Firstborn is that all things were created through Him and unto Him. The Bible never even mentions that Christ is CREATED AT ALL until He partook of creation through becoming a man.
In THAT sense that Christ became a genuine man He is indeed a part of creation through His incarnation - "and the Word BECAME flesh" (John 1:14)
"Who is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation, BECAUSE in Him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or lordships or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and unto Him.
And He is before all things, and all things cohere in Him." (Col. 1:15-17)
Robbie said I avoid saying Christ is also a creature here:
You have attempted to state that its made with reference to Christs preeminence which even if we allow for that to be true, his is still of the creation, a fact that you cannot escape.
I do not seek to "escape" that Christ is also a creature because God indeed CREATED man (Gen. 1:26,27) and the Word Who was God "became flesh". He was incarnated as a man.
Man is without dispute an item of God's creation.
Robbie is denying the incarnation. So I charge him with preaching "another Jesus". That is a Jesus who is not God Himself incarnated as a man.
"For indeed he who comes preaching another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit, which you have not received, or a different gospel, which you have not accepted ..." (see 2 Cor. 11:4)
When Thomas confessed that Jesus was his Lord and his God (John 20:28) Jesus did not rebuke Thomas for committing idolatry.
Thomas in fact, in confessing Jesus as his Lord and his God made a created man have absolute preeminence among everything in the universe. His actions agree with Paul's teaching in Colossians.
