Good grief, like I said, it's as if you've never read any of my posts. Have you not understood what I have been saying about the word "objective"? How can you ask such an uncomprehending question after all the discussions we've had. Read what I post!
It is a straightforward question that you are once again avoiding with a simple yes or no answer.

The only thing you have done with the word objective is reject the dictionary definition without explaining why.

It's a question you already know the answer to. So you asking it, instead of addressing what I am saying, has the air of piss take about it.

And it's the air of piss take about your ignore-ask-again-pretend-not-answered-ask-again routine that makes me not want to play along and not type out stuff I have explained over and over again.

You already know my answer. I have been absolutely straight forward time and time again about my take on your use of the word "objective".

Your judgment and declarations regarding morality are influenced by your personal feelings, preferences and opinions in your consideration and representation of what you claim to be facts. You have even admitted you cannot prove that any of the assertions you make about supernatural things are true. So your moral perspective is entirely subjective. Whacking on the label "objective" does not alter this.
How do my personal feelings, preferences and opinions alter the ten commandments that are recorded in the Bible, for example?

This is a dishonest caricature of the hundreds and hundreds of words I have seemingly wasted on you. "Without explaining why"? I explained 'why' repeatedly, and in detail, in posts you are apparently pretending you never read.

You seem to think that a magical being dictated them to humans rather like a magical being dictated the Quran to Muhammed. That's subjectivity.

We have both agreed that we can lie depending on the circumstances, and we have both agreed we can kill depending on the circumstances.

Making moral choices is, by its very nature, the realm of subjective approach to what is right and wrong in different situations.

Your subscription to the some stuff the Hebrews happened to write down is not objectivity. It's your personal preference and the import you place upon it is you exercising your personal opinion.

Give me an example of objectivity, since you claim to have the sole rights to the use of the word objective.

In terms of beliefs about supernatural things or morality? I already did. You ignored it. You expect me to type out an answer again? Not interested. Go take a look.

This 6 word ripcord question was basically a way of not absorbing anything I said in the post you were replying to into the 'conversation'.

Quote your exact words.

I'm not interested in retyping or copy pasting text that I have already typed. If you've read my posts, you already know the answer to your avoid-post-content dropkick question.

An objective moral standard means that some actions are always immoral no matter the circumstances.

If you reject an objective moral standard it means anything goes.

Like I have said, we have both agreed that we can lie depending on the circumstances, and we have both agreed we can kill depending on the circumstances. Read the rest of the post in which I said that. You just blanked it out, I notice.

You haven't suggested "an objective moral standard". You've merely peddled some superstitious notions that appeal to your imagination.

I said I might lie to save my family but that still wouldn't make it right, it would be the lesser of two evils in my opinion. Same applies to killing.
