The Bible puts it that righteousness is the foundation of God's throne.

"Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before Your face." (Psalm 89:14)

If God fails to be just and righteous the throne of God will collapse meaning divine authority will be undermined and Satan (the temporary rebel) and chaos will reign. His authority is built upon His being right absolutely.

Righteousness and justice, two of the main attributes of God's divine nature; are the foundation of God's throne. This corresponds with the fact that the foundation of God's throne in the New Jerusalem is pure gold, signifying God's nature in the attributes of righteousness and justice. (See Rev 21:18b; 22:1), ..."

If is certainly incougruent to watch you write about righteousness, justice and lovingkindness from your version of god, when he will be spectating in hell with his angels as he oversees the screams of the flesh-melting eternal carnage he has created.

"The dog misbehaved the entire time, and I was sorry I had brought him."

If you heard someone say that, wouldn't you think they regretted having brought the dog?

Or would you say, "I see no error in judgment. Rather, I see an owner grieved at his dog's misbehavior. It leads him along the way of training his dog to behave properly."

You can repent so that the "us" are those who are repented and saved.

Besides in your cherished economic / political system of Socialism, if you are chronically greedy and exploiting the worker you too will get yourself some blotting out. And it is ok in your system then.

If you didn't notice Joseph Stalin blotted out a few people.
Are any of us here capable of "blotting out" a son or daughter who commits murder?

The Judgement of God is just that, where what goes around comes around is what it is.

Your response to js357 is completely unsupported by scripture; I’m quite surprised to even see you post such a comment.

This isn't a mere snark...it's a serious question. How can a being with (often self-admittedly) fallible judgment verify that another's judgment is INfallible?

Wouldn't a more reasonable claim be "I have never known being X to have made a wrong judgment."?
If you assume that God is perfect at everything He does, it means the logical conclusion of that assumption would be that His judgement is also perfect.

    In Jesus Christ.

What’s the matter, don’t like a bit of Christian free thinking washing down your dogmatism and cultish thinking?

You are a believer in Jesus Christ based upon on someone else’s words written in a book? Or is it based upon God's revelation to us found in the Bible?

Partly both and partly other things.

    Likewise.

When you say 'someone else's words' do you mean 'God's revelation to us' or something someone made up?
