I don't think Jesus would be interested in giving this type of "wiggle room". I'm not sure he would endorse followers of his leaving themselves an easy "out" like this. It's certainly not in the spirit of the issue at hand.

In fact, this seems similar in spirit to Cain's question: Am I my brother's keeper? I believe the only answer has to be: Yes, you are.

The first and second "greatest commandments".

That all that needs to be known, spiritually, and practically.
Merely mentioning the numbers of certain commandments is, surely, pointedly NOT talking about "concrete action".

Feel free to consider a "commandment" merely a "suggestion", if you don't have the wherewithal to take the necessary action.

You still don't seem to get it. This thread is about the concrete action abd not about the "divine" instructions.

Because I'm quoting what Jesus said from my memory, and not Word for Word from the Bible. It was said 'off the cuff' so to speak.
and by the way you didn’t “paraphrase” anything actually,
Thank you. It's good to know that my memory is still fairly good.

NOT talking about "concrete action".
Concrete is physical; spirituality is spiritual and physically unseen; or is it?. Please tell us what concrete actions in Christians you are wishing answers too?

[Matthew 23:26 NKJV] 26 "Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also."
So I was correct that I paraphrased it; thank you. 🙂

I would think that people who obey the 10 commandments, or those who obey the two commandments given by Jesus etc.; I think it looks like concreate evidence of their spirituality. Thoughts?
