If you think "scripture" and "print" are synonyms you are seriously fckd up.
If you think the scriptures do not consist of ‘print’ you have a serious problem.

A brain consists of atoms but atoms do not think.

Besides which do you think "the scriptures consist of print"?
If every written word disappeared would the scriptures no longer exist?
Come on ... say something sensible ...

Answer my questions before you ask.

If the 'scriptures' are the sacred writings of Christianity contained in the Bible, then yes the scriptures consist of print. If it was was clearly written in the Bible that rape was good and somewhere else that rape was bad then yes the Bible would be ambivalent on the morality of rape. So if you provide me with a clear reference where the Bible explicitly says that rape is good I will agree with you.

Please provide a clear reference where your scripture explicitly states that rape is bad.

Deuteronomy 22:25-27

But if in the open country a man meets a young woman who is betrothed, and the man seizes her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die. But you shall do nothing to the young woman; she has committed no offense punishable by death.

So Deuteronomy 22:25-27 says you shouldn't rape a woman who is engaged to a man? What about women who are not betrothed? What about married women? What about widows? Is Deuteronomy 22:25-27 still in force?

As FMF has pointed out, the specification of 'betrothed' obviously excludes women who are not in this state. So it is by no means an unambiguous condemnation of rape in any circumstances. As you are well aware.

You seem to have a very limited understanding of scripture for someone who was a Christian for so many decades. Use a bit of common sense every now and then.

So is killing a rapists always wrong under all circumstances in your opinion? Do you or don’t you believe in moral absolutes?

This is a dodge.

It also doesn't mean that raping someone who is not betrothed is a good thing.
