“Love God, and love thy neighbor as thyself,” is the central tenet of Jesus’s teaching, as I understand it. It has scriptural support, but bear in mind that what counts as scripture was not canonized until the 4th c.
Nothing in the NT indicates that Jesus thought of himself as founding a new religion, separate from Judaism. That too is borne out by scrip ...[text shortened]... e Trinity and apostolic succession) is churchianity, but that’s just my personal opinion.
I would have to disagree with your second sentence. Statements like:
- I am the way, the truth and the light.
- Ignoring the sabbath
- condemning the Pharisees for strictly following the law of Moses
- commanding the disciples to go out into the world to peach His gospel rather than the Law of Moses
- commissioning Paul to preach to the Gentiles.
Jesus said this about Paul:
... he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: (Acts 9:15 KJV)
These all show that a new religion was in the making.

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." (KJV)
Matt 5:18
"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (KJV)
The "law" he meant was no other than the Mosaic law, the prophets to whom he referred were OT (Jewish) prophets. There was no other law, no other prophet, for him to have referred to.
He condemned the Pharisees for following the law of Moses without understanding, he did not condemn the law of Moses.

But the Law of Moses has past and a new law and new covenant is now in place.
Paul explains this somehwere in Hebrews, that the old is worn out and a new one is now in effect. Many Christian claim to know about this New Covenant but they dont

It was Paul who invented a new religion for the gentiles and passed it off as Jesus's.
Jesus says that not one jot of the Mosaic law shall be put in abeyance. For one who accepts the central tent of Jesus's teaching, to love God and love thy neighbour as thyself, no new covenant is needed; the OT one is entirely sufficient.

Mat_26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Jesus did not explain this in any detail and the disciples did not have a clue what he was on about, neither was an understanding of it critical for salvation.
Paul continues :
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (2 Corinthians 3:6 KJV)
A new covenant - not a bunch of words like Law of Moses but one of the Spirit. The Law of Christ is now in effect and this is summarized in one simple law like you said:
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.(Matthew 22:37-40 KJV)
God has written this law [since the resurrection of Christ] in the fleshly tables of the heart of all men. All people of all races and nations know this law. The light of Christ is in ALL MEN as the Bible states clearly.
Paul continues with more details in Hebrews 9. The things is that the old Law of Moses was very restrictive, and tedious. it demanded blood sacrifice which Jesus abolished by his own death and resurrection. Even worse it created a separation between Jews and Gentiles which needed to be removed - the veil of separation was gone by the resurrection of Christ. All followers of Christ [ not mouth worshippers.] are one with God...
Jesus makes all things new. The Old Law of Moses is gone.

How do you think Jesus abolished the blood sacrifice used in the Old Testament by His own death and Resurrection?

I have been here on this site saying the very same things for 14 years. It is you that assume [making an a$$ of yourself] that I dont.
Understanding the New Covenant is not a requirement for eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Good works and righteousness is the critical thing and you have failed to understand how it all works.
Jesus died and was resurrected thereby initiating the New Covenant, so that man can stand a chance at eternal life. Followers are required to follow his commandments to benefit from Christ's death and resurrection. Failure to do that means damnation.
Proclaiming faith and having the Spirit of Christ and still living evil sinful lives, leads to death.
You are making no progress becuase you will still stick on to your faith only false doctrine. You will never learn.
