The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the teachings pertaining to the Kingdom of God. The central tenet of this Gospel preach by Christ is what one needs to do to enter the Kingdom of God.
Christians now have another gospel. This is half of the gospel of Paul and they call it the gospel concerning the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ?
Two gospels? Which is correct?
Nothing in the NT indicates that Jesus thought of himself as founding a new religion, separate from Judaism. That too is borne out by scripture, not just my personal opinion.
Pretty much the rest of the Christian doctrine (e.g., the Trinity and apostolic succession) is churchianity, but that’s just my personal opinion.

Are you anything more than marginally competent at your job?

'How can you be certain (by and large) that the teaching of Jesus (while he walked the Earth) are not based on half-truths?'
Provide your answer and I will provide the critical thinking. Alternatively, respond with more smoke and mirrors and confirm the notion most people hold of you that you're just a big old yellow belly.

I suspect when you fill in an application form and are asked to specify your religion, you write in the box provided, (in crayon) 'that's an inane question.'

Bottom line, you lack the required skills to debate. (You know, where you answer questions as well as ask them. Sheesh, even Roman's does that).

I generally don't engage with you because since you provide little better than inane questions / responses.
You and Romans seem to operate at the same level - more or less. So it comes as no surprise that you and he "debate" - such that it is.

You'll make a statement about how the words of Jesus can, by and large, be attributed to him and when I ask you how you arrive at that conclusion you dismiss my question as inane. Indeed, any question that asks you to evidence your statements are similarly dismissed.
Originally posted by @ghost-of-a-dukePretty much from the time you started posting on this forum, you've been much more interested in "stirring the pot" than in engaging in any type of real debate. That hasn't changed. That you pretend otherwise is "business as usual".

What's telling is that away from this forum, when I speak to those who are more intelligent, better educated and better informed than you and Romans, the types of inane questions / responses that you guys provide just don't come up. They are capable of formulating and assessing well-thought-out arguments, so there isn't even the thought of engaging at the level you do.
