Let’s take a few moments to contemplate and genuinely appreciate and marvel at Threadkiller’s remarkable day in which he was the last poster in 24 of the first 25 threads.

A truly historic and record-setting achievement that likely will never be surpassed.

I'm at 5 of the last 6! You're slippin' brother!

Will I be crowned the new Thread Killer?? Hmmmm???

Everyone’s always trying to topple the king...

On a separate note, how come an RHP poster has dubbed himself the forum’s “main poster” when I have nearly twice as many posts as him in the past month.

And I’m not even trying!

Edit: Nice!

Lots of people dub themselves things falsely in this forum. One more common one is being a Christian.

Only God and an individual knows if the individual is a Christian. But my definition of a Christian is one who believes in the deity of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection and have put their faith and trust in Him for salvation.

Certainly one can make an educated guess if somebody is a Christian but I think in most cases, they won’t know, particularly if the person only recently became a Christian.

Your definition if read by an American perspective is wrong and leads people down the road of destruction.

How so? I'm an American and I think his definition is fine. Rom's 2nd comment isn't a description though, it's an opinion. But the first comment? Yep.

No it doesn’t. It’s straight out of the Bible. John 3:16, Romans 10:9 and a lot of other verses and passages and statements by Jesus Christ Himself about the importance of faith and belief.

Those who believe in salvation by works have no faith in Christ and often don’t believe that God’s Holy Spirit indwells believers. They think they can make themselves righteous (in right standing with God) and they can’t. God’s standard is perfection. Good luck meeting that on your own.

Jesus himself said that not all who call on him will be saved.

If you can't recognize sin and reject sin to follow Jesus you will not be saved. The sheep know their shephards voice.

These are many who follow false prophets on this site. If you disagree with me then you disagree with the Bible and you follow a false prophet too.

The sheep are the Christians. Technically Jesus said not everyone who says to Him "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom. The only reason I make that distinction is because "calling on" someone can mean different things.

Those who called out to him believed they were saved, but Jesus told them their belief about their own salvation was wrong. Why was it wrong? Because they were evil doers, even though they believed otherwise.

Certainly developing an aversion to sin is a consequence of being saved because God’s Holy Spirit has indwelt a new believer. But trying to avoid sin on one’s own? Trying to avoid sin while living in the flesh? Good luck with that. Can’t be done.

It’s hard enough to abstain from sinning with God’s indwelt Holy Spirit because we don’t mind the Spirit nearly as much as we should. But to abstain or even significantly reduce sinning without God’s indwelt Holy Spirit? Can’t be done.

Is your reference pre- or post-Jesus Christ’s Resurrection?
