Is it not an entailment of your very own position (owing to your own conception of 'soul' ) that I have eternal life regardless? Is the "soul" not immortal on your view, regardless? So, you're not worried ...[text shortened]... ary stress on your conscience, since there are no good reasons to be concerned about this point.
LemonJello,
From the stand point of God in the bible, there is a 2nd death. In a human sense, you will "exist" eternally, but who says that it will be "life." Since the bible tells that death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire, it is not existence in hell forever, but existence in the lake of fire that is associated with the 2nd death.
Don't depend on your own value to get you anywhere eternally or even humanly. It must be done for you just like it is for everyone else when it comes to God's rule over you.

Romans 2: 4-6
