I know this is hard to believe, but, outside of Christianity, many other religions are actually tolerant of others and want to share their thoughts, feelings and beliefs in an open and enlightening fashion. This makes a refreshing change to "we're right, you're wrong" approach you'll finding coming from many of the Christian faction in this forum.

Another question I have often asked myself is why?

Why are there so many different branches of Christianity?

If the message of Jesus is simple, then why are there so many different pieces
of the puzzle?

eg: Catholics, Protestants, Methodists, Baptists, JW's, Mormons, etc.

Is there not a one size fits all for the message of Jesus?

This is why I lean towards being an Atheist.

The argument that there is no God is far more logical than saying that there is one.

If he was there, then we would certainly know it without any ambiguity.

If he was real, then it would be one true religion instead of different religions and different branches within each of those religions.

The answers to these questions are simple. In fact I would guess that you've heard them before - assuming you've participated in these forums for more than a short time.

Do you want to know? Or, do you enjoy believing that the reason there are so many denominations in Christianity is because the messages of Christ are convoluted and probably wrong?
