I believe in the Trinity, I believe they are all equally God, but not all equal.
Paul referred to that nonsense doctrine as fleshly wisdom. You are confused, and trying to confuse others, because your church has confused you with their doctrine of confusion. He warned Christian Saints to preach the simple doctrine of the Gospel of Christ and not al that mumbo jumbo.

Quote me where Paul responded to something remotely close to what I said about the Trinity. You are making claims you cannot back up again.

Your Trinity doctrine and the accompanying explanation is not in the bible. It is a bunch of Ill-fitting mismatched nonsense statements with a conclusion that contradict clear bible statements. Paul called that fleshly wisdom because it is not from God but are the doctrines of men.

God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit are separate entities but all God and all equally God.

If Jesus by Himself were God, who raised Him from the dead? Who did He cry out to on the Cross?
"God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit are separate entities but all God and all equally God."

((((((( Can you show me that being said in the Bible? It doesn't have to be a few scriptures, just one will do.....)))))))))

"If Jesus by Himself were God, who raised Him from the dead? Who did He cry out to on the Cross?"

Would it be his " Father" on both parts? Of course it was. It would be no different if I asked my father who's name is Floyd to rescue me from some type of danger. But my father and myself are not the same person even though we may have the same ideas or principles or plans for life or even the universe. I'm his firstborn but we are 2 separate humans.

Remember that the scripture in Genesis states that "man" was made in their image? We are nothing like the trinity trys to explain Jehovah and Jesus. So did the bible lie about that statement?

How do you mean “equally God but not all equal?”

What scripture says that?

How about Romans 8:9?

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

(Romans 8:9)

Notice how the Apostle Paul - who was personally selected by Jesus Christ to deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles and who said he received that Gospel by revelation from Jesus Christ - uses “Spirit of God” and “Spirit of Christ” interchangeably in this verse.

Notice too how the Trinity is present in this verse, also from Romans 8:

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

(Romans 8:11)

Do we not all have a spirit, soul (mind) and body?

That is simply saying that both of them have a spirit that can affect a human. No where is it saying that Jehovah and Jesus are the same...

You using the word "interchangeable" is your thought, not the bibles in this scripture it says nothing like that here.

Again verse 11 is just stating that they both have a spirit that can help a human. Nothing here at all describes the trinity.

Yes we have a spirit or life force and the soul and body are the same thing.

Well, where is Paul's rebuke of the things I have said?

Everyone in my family is equally human, but there is a leadership structure in our family structure. None of us are more valuable than the next.

Ok, we definitely see that verse differently. I think it’s clear Paul is using Spirit of God and Spirit of Christ interchangeably, but if you don’t see it that way, that’s fine.

<<Again verse 11 is just stating that they both have a spirit that can help a human. Nothing here at all describes the trinity.>>

I see verse 11 this way:

“But if the Spirit <<Holy Spirit>> of him <<God the Father>> that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he <<God the Father>> that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit <<Holy Spirit>> that dwelleth in you.

If you don’t see it that way, that’s fine.

Neither one of us is going to convince the other.

I don’t think so. I think the soul is linked to the mind and consciousness, emotions, will, etc. Those have nothing to do with the physical body.

Ok, thanks for reply. I understand what you’re saying a little better.

But no one is more valuable in what sense?

Surely, the breadwinner of the family could be viewed as more valuable to the family’s survival than the youngest child. I realize that’s a very crude example but I’m not sure what you mean by valuable - valuable in what sense or to whom?
