So why would unbelievers be DOERS of the word of God if they don't even believe it?
Because doing good and living righteously is written in their hearts.

There are all kinds of 'believers'.
From believers who profess to believe but do nothing
To believers who obey Christ.
And several categories in between

A couple chapters down in Mark 4 Jesus explains, who are the believers that please God. Professing to believe is not a virtue but doing and following the teachings of Christ is.

The sower soweth ...[text shortened]... and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. (Mark 4:14-20 KJV)
And yet, you assume and condemn Christians in this forum as being unfruitful, even though you know nothing about them.

You say you do not judge, but you do. This is hypocrisy.

If doing good and living righteously is already written in the hearts of unbelievers, why did Jesus preach repentence and instruct his disciples to go out into all the world to preach the gospel? And why did he bother dying on the cross for that matter?

I answered those questions already.

The bible itself says that 'doing good and living righteously is already written in the hearts of unbelievers.'

Do you reject this part of the bible?

(And for your edification, just because God's righteousness is written on the heart of an unbeliever, doesn't mean that unbeliever is going to adhere to his heart or not lead a sinful life. - You're the one after all who was banging on about freewill).

Romans sir.

'Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the Law, do by nature what the Law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the Law,since they show that the work of the Law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them.'

Edit. - If you like I could come to your doorstep and explain it to you?

This was actually the first time that I asked you why Jesus instructed his disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel. And the previous time I asked you one of the other questions you said stop asking stupid questions or something to that effect.

Ok here is the answer to the first question. Jesus asked the disciples of go out to preach the gospel to all the world. The Gospel of Christ is to call people to repentance from their sins. The act of believing is not simple saying 'I believe'. It is a change of conduct and a resolve to live according to the teachings of Christ.

There are some people still in the world who, 2000 yrs after, have never heard of Christ. According to the Bible there is a provision for those in this group who despite of not knowing of Christ, can still live righteously. God will judge all men. There is no respect of persons with God.

What about the unbeliever that has heard the gospel of Christ and rejected it? If they are judged in the same way as those who have not heard the gospel, then what is the point of sending the disciples into the world?

Believing in God does not mean you automatically believe in Jesus.

Jesus sent his disciples into the world to preach the gospel.

Mark 16:15 - And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

So why would Jesus send his disciples into the world to preach the gospel if people who had not heard of Jesus could still be saved without hearing about him.
