@pb1022 said"Christians are drug-abusing child molesters. Though I assume some are good people."
Did you read that whole article?
Why’d you leave off the last part of the quote?
Does the second part make that statement okay? Don't act stupid. If someone said this about Christians but added "some are good people", don't pretend you wouldn't be offended.
Earlier you said "I'm not one to defend Trump". Yet here you are: post after post defending Trump. You're like someone who says "I'm not racist, but...."
Anyway, the who actually gave a shout-out to a white supremacist group during a live presidential debate has the support of Christians like you.

Trump in that quote is not talking about all Mexicans. He’s talking about Mexicans who are planning to illegally enter America.
It’s a false comparison because your statement refers to all Christians, not a subset of them who are planning to commit an illegal act.
<<Don't act stupid. If someone said this about Christians but added "some are good people", don't pretend you wouldn't be offended.>>
It depends on what the subset of Christians was doing. Again, Trump was not referring to all Mexicans. He was referring to Mexicans who are planning to commit an illegal act by violating a country’s sovereignty.
Your example refers to all Christians, not a subset of them who are about to commit an illegal act.
<<Earlier you said "I'm not one to defend Trump". Yet here you are: post after post defending Trump.>>
I’m not defending him. I’m pointing out where I think your argument is flawed.
<<You're like someone who says "I'm not racist, but....">>
Playing the race card? That’s a sure sign of someone who thinks they’re losing an argument. Don’t forget to call me a sexist and a homophobe and an Islamophobe too.
<<Anyway, the who actually gave a shout-out to a white supremacist group during a live presidential debate has the support of Christians like you.>>
What was the name of the white supremacist group? The Proud Boys?
You’re away the Proud Boys is led by a minority, right?
@pb1022 saidSenator Robert Byrd. A self-declared devout Christian who talked a lot about his Christian beliefs.
That the only U.S. Senator who was a member of the Ku Klux Klan was a Democrat (Robert Byrd?) And Byrd wasn’t just any member of the Klan - he was a grand kleagle or grand cyclops (whatever stupid names the Klan gives high-ranking members.)

See? Your logic at work.
You’re away the Proud Boys is led by a minority, right?
And? Ann Coulter said "women shouldn't vote" multiple times, Ghislaine Maxwell recruited multiple young girls to be raped. Does being female make them any less misogynist?

Proud Boys are a dangerous 'white supremacist' group say US agencies
This white supremacist group received a shout-out from Trump during a live televised debate, unprompted. This is guy's racism is painfully obvious. So is the racism of white Christians who support him.

Senator Robert Byrd. A self-declared devout Christian who talked a lot about his Christian beliefs.
Has he claimed he was a Christian while he was in the Klan?
Plenty of convicted killers have converted to Christianity while behind bars and have become new creations in Christ.
@avalanchethecat saidThis article more or less reflects the conclusion I came to.

Don’t have to. It was clear from the context of Trump’s remark that he wasn’t referring to all Mexicans - just those about to commit an illegal act by entering the United States illegally.
Your comparison has no such context.
<<See? Your logic at work.>>
Yep. Pretty straightforward, isn’t it?

Ann Coulter is little more than a literary shock jock who depends on outrageous statements to sell books.
Maxwell was obviously doing that for the money.
What’s the motivation for the Proud Boys’ leader?

What was the “shout out?” What did he say?
He told them to “stand down,” did he not?
And I didn’t click the link, but do U.S. agencies say the same for BLM and Antifa and other left-wing groups who were responsible for violent and deadly riots across the United States during the summer before the 2020 election *and whose members were supported by Kamala Harris?*
@pb1022 saidBorn and raised a Baptist as far as I know.
When did Byrd become a Christian?
Has he claimed he was a Christian while he was in the Klan?
His recanting of his poisonous racist views in later life was, of course, an American success story after decades of being a white supremacist, and something that can be chalked up to not only political expediency but also to his Christian faith [perhaps].
Perhaps you didn't mention that because you were too busy tripping over yourself with your tawdry retail-politics 'he was a Democrat' talking point.
@pb1022 saidGood for you. Run with that then.
And I could find and post a credible article saying, for example, that evidence shows the Gospel of John was written by the Apostle John.
“Free persons of all faiths from the tyranny of their religion.”
This is certainly not the motto of a Biblical scholar and historian specializing in early Christianity like Bart D Ehrman.

U.S. agencies say the same for BLM
False. Which is the reason you didn't include a link with this claim.
Are you misrepresenting what I said on purpose or are you not understanding it?
It’s clear - obviously clear - from Trump’s remarks that he was referring to Mexicans traveling to the United States with the purpose of committing an illegal act by entering the U.S. illegally. He’s obviously not referring to all Mexicans.
<<U.S. agencies say the same for BLM

I asked a question. I didn’t make a claim. I asked if U.S. agencies also categorized BLM and Antifa as violent and extremist groups based on the violent and deadly riots they orchestrated and participated in last summer.
You say they’re not categorized as violent extremist groups by U.S. agencies.
You should ask yourself why.
@vivify saidYou falsely claimed I said U.S. agencies say the same for BLM.
Yup. Defend any racist with "he didn't say 'all'". This is how white Christian racism was defended on this thread.

Here’s what I actually said, which you didn’t quote because it would have revealed your dishonesty:
