@ghost-of-a-duke saidOkay, that was funny. ππ€
I'll send you a book on anti-gravity sir, but you'll find it hard to put down.
@pettytalk saidI know he is very irritating in delightful way!
You, sir, can ride me all you care to....you show elegant flair with the use of words, and humor to boot.
@kellyjay saidIf you are claiming no one knows what gravity is, why don't you also believe that no one knows what the origin of the universe is?
You opened your mouth and spouted off about knowledge you don't have, and now you are afraid to try and prove otherwise, because as you tried to tell us what it is, you failed, you have no clue, and no one knows. Trying now would make you appear foolish, but you are not alone here, none of these others here can tell us what it is, only what it does.
It is much ea ...[text shortened]... y don't tell us what it is.
A simple explanation doesn't require anything from me, only from you.
@fmf saidBecause it doesn't say anything in the Bible about gravity, whereas it does say something about the origin of the universe. But only for literalists.

I thought perhaps "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" was enough on gravity for KellyJay, and when he says "no one knows what it is", he's being disingenuous. In other words, what KellyJay is actually riffing on is something along the lines of... 'Gravity is something God created, and if you don't concede that, then you don't know what gravity is'.

We know about the effects, not what it is, care for a go?
You cannot even acknowledge the error-checking processes when described to you if it is taking place somewhere you don't want it to be. I have little hope for anything from you outside of snide remarks or silence, let alone an answer.
@fmf saidEvery line of questioning eventually reaches a terminus. For some people, the terminus is, we don’t know. For KellyJay, the terminus is, God did it. This gives him the appearance of certainty in all things. Some people just can’t bear uncertainty.

@moonbus saidNo one requires God to describe what gravity is, you need another excuse.
