I would love nothing more than to have my Buckeyes, who beat Oregan last year in the Rose Bowl, to take on Boise State!! ðŸ˜
I think as I always have - that if Oregon goes unbeaten and Auburn goes down, that there is a fundamental flaw in the system if it allows a 1-loss Alabama team to leapfrog over an unbeaten Boise team. You KNOW if that's what it comes to, that's what will happen.
College football needs a playoff to end this travesty and decide champions on the field, not in the polls and opinions of so-called experts.

Oregon.

As I said before, schools like TCU and Boise State and Utah need to make a point to play each other if they want to play in the big game. Additioally, they should play an SEC team and/or one of the better teams in the Big Ten like Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio State or even Penn State for people to better gauge what they are about.

Perhaps in your world boise plays in conference that has more than 4 top 16 teams. But then again in your world it makes sense to no longer be a fan of a baseball team because they built a new stadium across the street. The reality is that major conferences pay tough games week in week out and small conference spend two months playing the same weak tea ...[text shortened]... western. But to promote your dishonest agenda you compare them to the bottom three Big 10 team.
San Jose St is the worst team in the WAC and Wisconsin, one of the best teams in the Big Ten, struggled to beat them.
There's little evidence that the Big Ten is a strong conference this year; I expect them to take a beating in the bowls (as usual).

The Big 10 has four teams in the top 16. It is much better than the Big East and ACC. It makes the WAC look like a high school conference. The big 10 won half of its games against major conferences including games that certainly would not qualify as favorable matchups like your worst team playing USC and a middle of the road team playing at Alabama. The WAC excluding Boise is 2-9 vs. AQs. Its just not close.
Wisconsin scored twice as many points as San Jose State in their game and you like a biased fool talk about the game like its a loss for the Big 10.
Originally posted by quackquackTwice as many points? First, check your calculator; 27 is not 2X 14. Second, a 13 point spread is hardly impressive when really good teams are beating the same team by 45-56 points. Third, by your stupid "logic" 6-3 is a slaughter; after all the winning team scored TWICE as many points as the losing one!

Great argument.

Alabama, Boise State, and Utah put SJ away in the first half.
