I cared and watched the match, it was great. Germany deserved 3rd place more than Uruguay did, the game ended on a wonderful note with a trademark Diego Forlan free kick which hit the bar spectacularly - moments before the final whistle. Very entertaining.
The best team won, but really who will remember any of this in 4 years? Some germans?
The final will be the major contributor to the memories we take away from this cup!
