Argentina-Germany is by far my favourite game so far this WC. Usually 0-4 games are too lopsided to be of real interest but this one was spectacular.

Too cool that Germany was wearing black away-outfits for this historical knockout.

INdeed it was an interesting match through and through. Never boring at all. Just wish dumb ref had not called a phantom yellow on Muller.

Paraguay really tried to come up in defence in this game and it nearly paid off.
Two unconverted penalties, shots hitting the uprights late in the game.
It was 6am here when Spain scored the winner. Just Brilliant.Kept me awake.
Germany will be a big hurdle but hey, get your wallets out. Brazil is out. Spain is due...
