@no1marauder saidIt is from the website you posted moron! The NSA is lying. Even the CIA report says they were unmarked aircraft. Are you going to believe the NSA over the CIA now?
How many times do I have to tell you? From the testimony of a sailor on board that I have referenced twice already.
The official government report confirms they were unmarked aircraft.
You can confirm all of that by clicking onto this in the link you posted:
A Report of War Crimes Committed Against the USS Liberty, June 8, 1967
Captain McGonagle testified at the Naval Court of Inquiry that "there are probably many reasons why the aircraft were unidentified" and gave them as their distance from the Liberty, their speed and the crew's lack of experience with jet aircraft in their normal area of operations. http://www.thelibertyincident.com/docs/CourtOfInquiry.pdf
p. 154 of 728
He made no claim the planes were unmarked.
@metal-brain saidNo, it doesn't. You are being untruthful.

I already looked at it. It doesn't offer any evidence the aircraft were unmarked because none exists. The reports only indicate the planes weren't identified which is not the same thing.
The idea that the Israelis were using unmarked Mirages (a French made fighter) to pretend they were Egyptian is preposterous. Egypt's air force (what was left of it after the Israeli sneak attack that started the 1967 war) was "By the mid-1960s, British aircraft had been replaced completely by Soviet hardware. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_Air_Force
Really how stupid does a conspiracy theory have to be for you to believe it?
@no1marauder saidDude, this is the website you posted:

It says this:
"The use of unmarked aircraft by the forces attacking the USS Liberty"
Your own source contradicts you.
@metal-brain saidI already addressed that:

"They cite it as an "allegation" but it would have been almost impossible to see markings on aircraft as far away at high altitudes and travelling at a speed that would cover a mile in three seconds until they commenced the attack."
@no1marauder saidIt was not until 4:12 p.m. (9:12 a.m.) that the Israelis became convinced that the Liberty was American. This was about 44 minutes after the last attack on the ship and the attack had apparently been called off, not because the ship had been identified, but because it seemed to be sinking.
The fact that Israel informed the US Military Attache in Tel Aviv that it was Israeli forces that attacked the Liberty less than an hour and a half afterwards (he was then transported to the Liberty itself) makes the "false flag" claim untenable.
@no1marauder saidYours is also an allegation.
I already addressed that:

What makes one allegation better than another?

Show me where it says the aircraft were "unmarked".
@no1marauder saidI told you, it said so in your own source, the survivors website.

@metal-brain saidThat CIA report was made on June 13, 1967 only 5 days after the attack.
It was not until 4:12 p.m. (9:12 a.m.) that the Israelis became convinced that the Liberty was American. This was about 44 minutes after the last attack on the ship and the attack had apparently been called off, not because the ship had been identified, but because it seemed to be sinking.
That part is inaccurate as I have already shown.
@metal-brain saidExplained TWICE already.
I told you, it said so in your own source, the survivors website.
