I agree. When I went to University, we as students had to take two "Critical Thinking" courses. It was eye-opening for me; and, it also confirmed many of my beliefs.
I think ALL High-Schools should be required to have their students take "Critical Thinking" courses. I think that we all would be much better off if they did.

That would take an education department with vision.

I know kids who are dyslexic; they need extra language lessons. These will all be left behind since Trump has cut federal funding for such programmes. They affect everyone, even you, Joe. Think about this: do you really want fewer qualified doctors and nurses, fewer qualified airplane pilots, fewer qualified bridge inspectors, fewer qualified school teachers, fewer qualified sanitation workers and water purification engineers, ten years down the road? Because that's where Trump is steering the country right now.

Future historians will not be kind to Donald Trump, and may even look back on the Trump presidencies as the Commodus of the American Empire--the beginning of the decline and fall.

People close to him, adults in the room, are on record quoting some of his stupid ideas: stopping a hurricane with a nuclear explosion, the military shooting protesters in the legs, injecting bleach to kill COVID (he actually said this on live tv), putting light bulbs inside people's bodies to kill COVID (ditto). His supporters think he is smart because he is rich. This is baloney. He is not rich because he is smart. He is rich on other people's smarts. He is rich because his dad gave him a cool million to start and he hired smart accountants--accountants who cheated on his taxes and defrauded banks. He bankrupted five companies---one of which was a casino. It takes more than slight-stupidity to bankrupt a casino--it takes really dedicated stupidity to do that.

He hates smart people, and he hates being refuted by facts. That's why he defunds universities and research institutes. Remember how RFK Jr. was so hot and bothered about autism and that we must find out what is causing it? Guess what? Trump is defunding autism research; doesn't 'align with his priorities':
