@wildgrass saidI am referring to the conditions of the economy and how it is affected. Turning the economy around takes time for policy to be felt if done properly. It is not something so nimble that it will turn on a dime, even if there is trillions spent the ramifications will be felt just not right away.
Semantics. You are referring to his presidency often.
Also in defense of yourself you have not addressed the central question of how to evaluate the legacy of runaway government deficit spending that occurred from 2017-2020. You seemed intent on page 4 to pin the prior presidents awful legacy to the current president.
@Metal-Brain saidYes. If they support what he did while he was president and wanted him to be president again then they would endorse him.
So non endorsements prove they don't agree with him? That is ridiculous.
I do not endorse RFK jr. because he is a hardcore Zionist, but that does not mean I am against him.
Your comparison to rfk is ridiculous. Have you worked for him? He has never been president. Why are so few former trump cabinet members willing to endorse him?
@wildgrass saidOkay. I have an open mind.

Compare that to other past presidents running for reelection. How many endorsements did they get?
@KellyJay said".. even if"

Yes,there was. No need for if. Deficit spending was down to $400 billion in 2015. Then an election happened and spending skyrocketed to the point where deficits exceeded $1 trillion per year in 2019. Who cares who was president but that policy stinks.

@Metal-Brain saidDo you mean like Joe Biden not supporting Obama reelection in 2012?
Okay. I have an open mind.

If I look at the list of Obamas cabinet i don't think there are any that would refuse to endorse him for reelection if asked.
And now theres this statement from Trump's former VP: "President trump demanded that I choose between him and the constitution so I chose the constitution."
@wildgrass saidYou didn't ask.

I said compare and you will not do it so I will assume 4 people is typical.
@Metal-Brain saidIt is rare for current or former cabinet members not to endorse a presidential candidate for reelection. I'm not sure I can come up with a single other example. Can you?

We have heard very strong messages NOT to vote for Trump from his VP and two of his former national security advisors. These people spent a lot of time with trump while he was president and certainly know more about how bad a president he was than I do. Others like Kelly, mattis, McMaster, Tillerson etc have truly alarming things to say about what kind of a president he was. Then his press secretary goes into the DNC stating that trump calls his own supporters "basement dwellers".
I trust their opinion.
@wildgrass saidYou trust the opinions of the people Trump fired? LOL

You forgot John Bolton. You need a more complete list of the disgruntled.
@Metal-Brain saidYou pretend Trump's the first president to ever fire somebody. Obama fired lots of people in his cabinet too. None of them said what these guys are saying about trump.

@wildgrass saidAre you claiming the people Obama fired think favorably of him?
You pretend Trump's the first president to ever fire somebody. Obama fired lots of people in his cabinet too. None of them said what these guys are saying about trump.
BTW, who are those people that Obama fired?

@Metal-Brain saidYeah.

Stanley mccrystal is the worst name I can come up with, who Obama fired because he was smack talking the administration. But if you read what mccrystal had to say, it was extremely mild compared to what Pence, Kelly, Bolton, Bill Barr and others have said about Trump's leadership skills, or lack thereof.
Others who Obama fired? They're not saying that he was "unfit for office" like many in Trump's circle have said publicly about trump.
@wildgrass saidDo you think the deficit has been shrinking these last few years?

@KellyJay saidThink, mate?. This is math, not philosophy.
Do you think the deficit has been shrinking these last few years?
Yes, it's decreasing. It's almost back down to 2019 levels.
The consistent pattern for the last 44 years: Republican presidents increase deficit spending, while democrats decrease it. You can call it partisan if you want, but I'll retract that statement at the exact point when Republicans buck the trend.

@wildgrass saidWhat did they each say about Trump that was so bad?
Yeah.
