I described how the US economy moved slowly and because of that policy change is not always seen right away and the wrong administration gets blamed or credited. What I said is a truism that has been going on for a very long time. It isn’t my fault you and others here are so fixated on Trump you can only see reality from a Trump perspective for good or ill.
@KellyJay saidYou were specifically defending Trump in your original comment on the matter.

Inflation is a lagging economic indicator and always has been. It skyrocketed quickly after Trump left office. In your "large ship" analogy, was the jump in inflation rate a result of policy decisions from the Trump or Biden administrations?
@wildgrass saidI didn't say Trump's name until the page before this, I'm talking about the economy and how fast it moves.

@KellyJay saidSomething like $3 trillion was spent over budget, just deficit spending, in the last year of former guys presidency. Back on page 4, you were defending former guys insane and indefensible levels of government spending saying Biden took credit for it.

@wildgrass saidYou are confused

@wildgrass saidI did read it, you insert Trump into everything he owns your brain!
No. Read page 4 man. You are a maga apologist through and through.
I don't dislike trump. I think he proved he was unfit for office. 40 of the 44 cabinet members who worked directly for him agree with me.
@wildgrass saidMore people here talk about people than the nuts and bolts of political policies.

" 40 of the 44 cabinet members who worked directly for him agree with me"
That cannot possibly be true. What is your source of information?

@wildgrass saidThe one bringing his name up is not me. Hate speech is almost always directed at people, so blame the conservatives, progressives, Republicans, Democrats, Trump, Biden. Vance, or Harris avoids and hides strictly policy conversations! This has led to directing all issues as people are our real problems. You can not even address an issue now without someone trying to make it personal as some person is the issue..
I was steering you back to it, but you keep trying to give trump credit for everything.

Did you watch the GOP convention at all? Notice anything suspicious?
Did the former VP speak? No
Did former presidents speak? No
Did the former chief of staff? No
How about the first lady?
Anyone with any credibility?
It appeared as if every living Republican who has ever run for president does not support Trump for president.
The people who know trump best didn't speak. No former leaders spoke because virtually none endorse him.
Hulk Hogan spoke though.

@KellyJay saidSemantics. You are referring to his presidency often.

Also in defense of yourself you have not addressed the central question of how to evaluate the legacy of runaway government deficit spending that occurred from 2017-2020. You seemed intent on page 4 to pin the prior presidents awful legacy to the current president.
@Metal-Brain saidHis former press secretary just spoke at the Democrat convention.

Y'all are in a cult.
@wildgrass saidSo non endorsements prove they don't agree with him? That is ridiculous.

I do not endorse RFK jr. because he is a hardcore Zionist, but that does not mean I am against him.
