Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper has called him a “threat to democracy.” Former national security adviser John Bolton has declared him “unfit to be president.” And former Vice President Mike Pence has declined to endorse him, citing “profound differences.”
Sarah Matthews, a former Trump aide who testified before the House Jan. 6 committee and is among those warning about the threat he poses, said it’s “mind-boggling” how many members of his senior staff have denounced him.
@shavixmir saidJohn Bolton tried to assassinate Maduro without Trump's knowledge.

Bolton was unfit for the job.
Dennis Blair, the White House's chief co-ordinator of intelligence in the fight against terrorism, resigned last night at the end of a difficult 16 months in office marked by infighting with other administration figures and growing doubts about his grip on the job.
Rumours have swirled for months in Washington that Blair's tenure as national intelligence director was ending, following a sequence of turf battles with colleagues and criticism over the way he handled the failed Christmas Day bombing attempt on a plane bound for Detroit.

@wildgrass saidYou think the US is on sound financial footing, do you? When the debt is what?
Think, mate?. This is math, not philosophy.
Yes, it's decreasing. It's almost back down to 2019 levels.
The consistent pattern for the last 44 years: Republican presidents increase deficit spending, while democrats decrease it. You can call it partisan if you want, but I'll retract that statement at the exact point when Republicans buck the trend.

@KellyJay saidNot what I wrote, Kelly.
You think the US is on sound financial footing, do you? When the debt is what?
Republicans spend like drunken sailors, Democrats come in and attempt to have grown up conversations, clean up the mess, but then voters think that's boring and so they vote the Republican back in because they promise tax cuts.
This cycle has repeated for 44 years. But the clearest example of this craziness is the period from 2017-2018. Economy was good/great. No wars. No COVID. And yet the deficits went from $400 billion to $1 trillion.
It is obviously not sound financial footing. Why would you think that's what I meant?
@Metal-Brain saidTrump Secretary of Defense Esper "he’s unfit for office. … He puts himself before country. His actions are all about him and not about the country. And then, of course, I believe he has integrity and character issues as well."

Former Trump national security advisor McMaster "President Trump and other officials have repeatedly compromised our principles in pursuit of partisan advantage and personal gain"
Former White house chief of staff Kelly.. "He did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’”
Former Attorney General Barr ‘Boy, if he really believes this stuff, he has lost contact with – he’s become detached from reality if he really believes this stuff,’
Former Defense Secretary Mattis: Trump is “the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people. We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We must reject and hold accountable those in office who would make a mockery of our Constitution,”
Former Trump national security advisor Bolton "Trump is unfit to be President"
There are a dozen others.

Not that Biden has not gotten criticism from his former chief of staff. Former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain gave Biden some crap too.
Am I supposed to believe that is uncommon?

Yes it is uncommon for former cabinet members to say that they president under which they served is "unfit for office".
If it were one disgruntled trump employee, sure, this question whether his motive was genuine or vindictive. But when you have multiple high ranking cabinet members all saying "unfit for office" then it's foolish to think they're all wrong.
@wildgrass saidNo it isn't. You just think it is because you read a biased article.

That last is a former highly respected conservative judge who just announced he will not vote for Trump but will vote for Harris in spite of the fact he is a long time REPUBLICAN.
You are puking from the wrong tree.
